Argrave, the illegitimate child of House Vasquer, has undergone a transformation since his time studying magic at the Tower of the Gray Owl. His sickly appearance and cruel demeanor have been replaced with a refined dignity and sharp wit. He now leads a purposeful life, unlike his previous listless existence. Many are left wondering how he knows so much about everything, yet few truly understand his motives or goals. But behind the scenes, Argrave battles with existential dread and forces beyond his understanding as he struggles to adapt to the dark, gothic fantasy world that he considers his favorite game. This is his story. Readers can expect a high-fantasy tale filled with all the creatures and landscapes one would expect in such a world. The cultures are unique and well-developed, with the main setting resembling a European feudal society. War, mythical beasts, and natural disasters are common occurrences in Berendar and often drive the plot forward. While Argrave may be a smooth-talker, he quickly learns that the world does not revolve around him and must fight for power. This story will be released four times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
