Once he caught sight of that girl in a fierce stance behind him, Li Yi finally understood why he wanted to go for Italian Flavor.

There was a time in his past life when Jiaojiao mentioned in passing that she hated the Italian style…

Er… Did he subconsciously want to come here?

But now, Li Yi did not have time to think about this silly question.

Separated from him by a table, sat four people. Three females and a male. The young lady with a wild nature and slender legs that went for miles was none other than Invincible Jiaojiao.

A potbellied middle-aged man sat there, looking highly esteemed and projecting a dignified demeanor. One could tell he was a man of status. Beside him was a woman decked out in jewelry. She was checking herself out with a compact mirror.

Sitting next to Jiaojiao was an elegant woman. She looked younger than the jewel-adorned woman. She shared similar facial features with Jiaojiao. Li Yi knew this person. She was Jiaojiao’s mother, Xie Qin.

Xie Qin’s demeanor was the complete opposite of Jiaojiao’s. Jiaojiao was pointing at the middle-aged man while excoriating him while she only sat there and sobbed.

“Mum, what’s there to be afraid of? Did you do anything wrong? Tell him to divorce you and to never speak to us! Tell him and his mistress to scram!”

The middle-aged man was furious, “Lil Jiao, watch your attitude! I am your father!”

“I don’t have a father like you,” Jiaojiao glared at the woman with the mirror with disgust and spat in her face.

“My goodness!” The woman who was occupied with her mirror froze in shock. She was so stunned that she forgot to wipe the spit off her face.

“Brother Tian, so this is your well-mannered daughter!”

The woman with the mirror stood up and stamped her high heels out of the restaurant.

“Lil Qin, mind your daughter! What a disgrace to have caused such a scene in a place like this! I told you not to come here yet you insisted. How… How much humiliation must you bring me?” The middle-aged man covered his face with both his hands, as if afraid that someone could recognize him.

“Oh, you know what’s humiliation? If you do, then you wouldn’t be going for a mistress nor divorcing my mum!” Jiaojiao saw red.

“Brother Tian, our first date was in this restaurant. I have no other intention to call you here except to end things where it began. Go after your dreams and I wish you the best of luck,” Xie Qin took out a piece of paper and scribbled her name on it before handing it over.

The middle-aged man quickly snatched it as though he was afraid that she would change her mind. He was happy, “Lil Qin, I know you’d understand me.”

Xie Qin bawled and bolted out the door.

“I never want to see you ever again!” Jiaojiao viciously glared at the middle-aged man before running after her mother.

A sense of loss flashed past the middle-aged man’s face but was quickly replaced with joy. He grabbed the paper with both hands and ran out in excitement.

A foot suddenly stuck out beneath the middle-aged man and gently tripped him.

Wham!

The middle-aged man fell flat on his face. As he was most concerned about that piece of paper, he did not let go of it to even protect himself, bruising and cutting his nose and lips.

The one who tripped him was no other than Li Yi.

He pieced together everything that was going on from eavesdropping earlier. No wonder Jiaojiao was not in the mood to play games, it was because of all that.

“Are you alright, sir?”

A foreign waiter ran over to help him up.

“Let’s go. It’s time to leave, now that we’re full.”

Li Yi called on Fatty and when he was near the foreign waiter, he stuck his foot out again to make him stumble. The foreign waiter lost his grip and the middle-aged man fell onto the ground once more.

“There’s still half a bottle left. I’m taking it home with me,” Chen Yang grabbed the bottle and snuck the half-bottle of liquor out under his coat.

The middle-aged man was bleeding from the mouth and nose yet both his hands were still desperately clasping on that piece of paper. Li Yi was able to catch a clear glimpse of its contents while passing by. It was divorce papers.

As Li Yi was walking out of the restaurant, he suddenly heard the middle-aged man shriek hideously. It so happened when Chen Yang walked by, he accidentally trod on his hand.

“I hate that sort of guy the most,” Chen Yang walked out the door and spat.

Li Yi smiled. “Didn’t you say a real man must have multiple wives at least? I don’t think you hate him, you’re just jealous, right?”

Chen Yang was disdainful. “Rubbish, the women out there should be nurtured while your own woman must be protected too. I will not be jealous of this sort of man.” He paused.

“Brother Yi, the girl earlier seemed familiar. I just can’t recall where I saw her before.”

“She’s our Guild Master.”

“Oh? Oohhhhhhhhhhh!” Chen Yang suddenly howled in realization, giving Li Yi a fright.

“She is more beautiful in person than in the game. Those long legs, tsk tsk. Good fortune to the guy who gets to marry her.”

As the two were conversing, the middle-aged man walked out of the western restaurant while pinching his nose. He crept into a parked Bentley by the door and left.

Chen Yang snorted, “F*ck, this fella really is rich. I heard someone said this car was at least 10,000,000 bucks.”

Li Yi did not answer him. His eyes were glued on the mother and daughter.

This mother-daughter pair were standing by the streets, hugging each other and wailing. That scene was heart-wrenching.

“These rich people are no good people,” Chen Yang threw a sour remark.

Li Yi was dithering and could not make up his mind whether or not to go over. Although he was quite acquainted with Jiaojiao in the game but it was obviously not the right time and place for a reunion.

“Brother Yi, how old is our Guild Master?”

“It’s either 17 or 16…”

“Er…” Chen Yang gave Li Yi a big thumbs up.

“What?”

“Are you into her?”

“No.”

“For real?”

“For real.”

“You sure?”

“Yes, I’m sure!”

“Don’t pretend now. If you’re not into her, why would you give your all in creating a guild? You’re lazier than me. C’mon, you can fool anybody but me. Tsk tsk.”

“She’s maturing this well for a 16, 17-year-old, what more in another few years? Brother Yi, you’ve got some high goals.”

“…” Li Yi was speechless.

“What’re you looking at? Never seen a girl cry? Keep looking and I’ll rip your eyes out!” Jiaojiao flashed her nails at Li Yi who quickly turned away.

It was best not to engage with women who have lost their minds, especially the type like Jiaojiao.

As Jiaojiao and her mother got into a silver-gray Cayenne and left, Li Yi was drowned in all sorts of emotions.

He was happy that it would not be long before Jiaojiao’s mother would purchase the house above his and when that happened, he would be close to Jiaojiao. However, he was also saddened by the separation of Jiaojiao’s parents.

“Someone reported that your western restaurant is filthy. There’s a fly in the soup. Seize it.”

Li Yi and Chen Yang were about to call a cab when they saw a group of uniformed men marching into the Italian Flavor restaurant. They produced a warrant to cease and desist.

“I’m sorry, my friend. We don’t have soup in our restaurant and there are no flies!” The foreign waiter panicked so much that his words came out crudely.

“The food here isn’t sanitary, shut them down!” The leader and over ten men swamped in and chased the customers out. The waiter was kicked aside and the door was shut with a seal.

“What’s going on?” Chen Yang was baffled.

“How would I know?”

Li Yi frowned. The whole situation was extremely bizarre. Everything was fine earlier. How did it change in a blink of an eye…

Don’t tell me…

Recalling the chilling look on the middle-aged man’s face as he was leaving, Li Yi somewhat came to a realization.

Li Yi returned home and had his beauty sleep before getting up to log in to his game.

Little Drunk Cat Guild took turns to keep watch on Qing Pingle. A whole day had passed and Qing Pingle had attempted to escape multiple times but he did not succeed.

Li Yi had left some leeway to Qing Pingle. He did not publicize this matter yet because he was still waiting for Qing Pingle to explain himself.

With Little Drunk Cat Guild’s current influence, one order to kill and Qing Pingle could kiss making it in the Eastern Continent goodbye. Unless he was willing to spend a fat sum of cash to transfer to another Continental Camp so he would escape Li Yi’s grasp it would have been quite impossible as the price of transfer was a whopping 5,000,000 Gold Coins!

Li Yi sent a message to Platinum Hand leader Lil Man to inform her that he would start to clear the Instance Dungeon after two days.

Although there was only one last chance to challenge the dungeon and now he was lacking one member, Li Yi could not afford to wait any longer. If he did not settle it soon, Ivrit’s first kill may land in someone else’s hands.

Star Fire Guild’s dungeon progress was still stuck at the Ultimate Combat Weapon but there was one guild that managed to take down the Ultimate Combat Weapon.

Shen Lang managed to learn that Dream Guild had successfully defeated the Ultimate Combat Weapon and was currently facing the Inferior Fire Elf army.

Their progress rate was the same as Li Yi’s party. If he did not step up, all his efforts would go to waste.

Lil Man quickly replied that all party members were on board, including herself.

With the party members all settled, Li Yi could relax and immediately went out preparing items to clear the dungeon.

It would definitely be a tough battle to fight against over three hundred Inferior Fire Elves. These fellas were immune to all CC, including Wizard’s Sheep Transformation Spell, Paladin’s Repent, Thief’s Blunt Object, Archer’s Freezing Trap, so he sorted out a few special items.

Li Yi made the rounds with his official duties before heading to the Castellan’s residence to accept a daily bounty quest.

“The Black Dragon Ferrian of Black Rock Mountain has perpetrated heinous crimes. Kill it and bring its head to me.”

Li Yi received a nasty shock from the quest he had just picked up.

Who would consider taking on an extreme quest to hunt Black Dragon Ferrian?

Black Dragon Ferrian’s nest was at Black Rock Mountain, a Level 80 Dungeon. It was a powerful Ancient-level dragon boss. At this stage in the game, even if all the players of all three continents were to work as one, bringing its head back was impossible.

Completing that bounty quest was out of the question so he could only wait for tomorrow for the quest to refresh.

The Universal Key had respawned in the shop and Li Yi headed to Blade Peak to seek the Dragon Rider, Lord Augustus.

When Li Yi finally reached the top of Blade Peak, with untold hardships, to his pleasant surprise he found a golden shimmering question mark on top of Augustus’ head. This was a prompt, indicating quests!

Now that Li Yi achieved 25 Pantheon Hall of Fame records, Augustus had started to distribute quests!
