Half a decade ago, the Earth was transformed by an event that has come to be known as the World Awakening. In an instant, everything changed. Mana surged through the world, portals appeared, and a holographic display materialized in front of every human, revealing their unique abilities. From enhanced vision to fantastical powers like controlling fire, each person was gifted with a talent to start with. Among this vast array of abilities, Damien discovered his own: a spatial affinity that allowed him to teleport short distances. Initially, Damien was thrilled at the thought of epic battles and gaining immense power. But reality quickly set in. His ability had a limited range of only 10 meters and his physical strength was lacking, leaving him exhausted after just a few uses. Disheartened by his perceived weakness, Damien lived a quiet life, struggling to make ends meet. However, one fateful day, everything changed. Betrayed and thrown into a portal, Damien found himself trapped in a labyrinth filled with dangerous creatures. It was then that something inside him snapped. He refused to remain weak and submissive any longer. Emerging from the darkness, he discovered himself in a new world, with no way of returning to Earth. But he was no longer the timid kid he once was. Something had awakened within him, and he was determined to find his way back home.
