Mo Qian Xue's life had taken a turn for the worse. She was now living in a dilapidated, rundown house with broken furniture and overgrown grass. The kitchen was bare, with only an empty rice pot to show for it. Despite the chaos, she managed to make do with what little they had. However, her biggest frustration was the fact that they only had one quilt in the entire house. Not only did Mo Qian Xue have to take care of her sickly husband during the day, but she also had to ensure he was well-fed at night. As the evening approached, her husband reminded her that it was time for bed. With a sigh, she closed the door, turned off the lights, and tried to get some rest. But her husband's illness didn't stop him from trying to cuddle with her in bed. Mo Qian Xue warned him not to move or else she would kick him out of the bed. Despite her threats, he still managed to wrap his arms around her, showing that he wasn't as weak as he seemed. Mo Qian Xue had worked hard to become successful and escape the constant bickering of her relatives. She built workshops and factories, with the help of her sickly husband, and achieved prosperity. But just when she thought she could finally live a peaceful life, the villagers started knocking on her door. They wanted her money and her position as a wife. But Mo Qian Xue was not one to be bullied easily. She refused to let them make her lose face. If they wanted to come closer and cause trouble, she was ready to give them a slap in return.
