This is the tale of a young savior warrior in an underground colosseum. He has no memory of his past or how he ended up there, only knowing himself as Aegir, a fierce and formidable fighter. One fateful day, Aegir triumphs over the boss of the arena and escapes, joining a group of mercenaries as their newest member. On a mission, they encounter Lucy, a powerful vampire with supernatural strength who mercilessly slaughters the entire band. Surprisingly, Lucy takes pity on Aegir, recognizing that he only knows how to kill and offers him shelter in her home. Over the course of two years, Lucy educates and cares for Aegir, teaching him more than just the ways of combat. As the day of Aegir's departure approaches, they make a promise to each other - if Aegir can become a king and claim the land of Erg forest, he can return to take Lucy as his partner. With this newfound purpose, Aegir sets off on a journey to become a hero, a ruler, and establish his own kingdom.
