It was the typical opening line that signaled the start of a game. She urged me to deliver this powerful message to all the boys and girls with bright, eager eyes. But it felt wrong to direct it towards someone like myself, who was exhausted from the endless search for employment. Politely declining her request only resulted in her bursting into tears.
