At Lu mansion.

Inside Lu Lian's room. After lunch.

"Isn't it beautiful? What do you think?" Lu Lian asked while showing her brand new dress to Lu Bao, which she had prepared for the function that evening.

"Yeah, it's beautiful, and you will look stunning in it. After all, this brand is always the best," Lu Bao replied while leaning back lazily in the chair.

"You are right. What about your dress? Did you finish everything?" Lu Lian asked as she hung the dress back in her wardrobe.

"No! I still can't decide which one to wear? I need to ask someone older from our family. Let's go to my room first." Lu Bao suddenly got up, having thought of something.

They got out of Lu Lian's room and headed towards Lu Bao's room.

While they were walking, Lu Lian asked, "Whom should we ask?"

"Let's ask one of the men. They will be able to tell us which suits the best," Lu Bao answered.

"Really?"

"Yes! Let's think about whom to ask. Forget about older people. It should be one of our brothers."

"Brothers? Should we go to brother Lu Han?" Lu Lian asked.

Lu Bao shook her head. "No! I am sure he must be racking his brain to solve his wife's issues with accessories."

Lu Lian agreed, "Right. Then brother Lu Qiang?"

"Nope. Today is Sunday so he must be busy with his favorite person," Lu Bao said thoughtfully.

"Yup! He must be playing videogames with Lu Lijun." Lu Lian sighed.

Lu Bao nodded and said, "It's not only that. He won't be of any use to us. That iceberg only melts for the little ice ball."

"Hmm... true!"

"Wait!" Lu Bao's eyes brightened with happiness.

"What happened?" Lu Lian asked.

She pointed her finger towards the person who was at the end of the corridor. "Look!" Lu Bao excitedly spoke.

"Brother Lu Feng? What is he doing home at this hour? It's still noon, not midnight." Lu Lian had a surprised expression on her face.

According to Lu Feng's routine, he left home after breakfast and came back only at midnight. It was rare to see him at home like this.

"Let's ask him!" Saying this, she stepped forward.

Lu Lian was timid when in front of Lu Feng as he acted cold and aloof in front of the family. She was scared as she exclaimed, "What? Do you want to die? He is the other iceberg in our family!"

"Don't worry, this iceberg just looks tough from the outside but is actually soft inside. Let's go." Lu Bao knew her brother better than the others.

They scurried forward so that they could catch Lu Feng before he could leave. Lu Feng had just come out of his room while he fiddled with his phone. He didn't sense the danger coming his way.

"Brother Lu Feng," Lu Bao called his name. She stopped a couple of feet shy of him while Lu Lian deftly hid behind her.

"What?" He stopped and asked with his usual chilly expression.

His harsh reply left the two timid. "W-we need your help. Can you come with us?"

"What is it?" he asked with the same tone.

Lu Bao calmed herself. "I can't show it to you here…" she trailed off.

"Then?" her brother asked.

"You have to come to my room," she demanded, still timid from before.

"Show me here. I am in a hurry," Lu Feng commented in an annoyed tone.

In an instant, Lu Bao had changed her tone. She had taken out her secret weapon… to behave like a little girl asking for something from her elder brother. "Brother, please?" she mumbled with her puppy dog eyes.

Lu Feng saw right through her but played along because it had been a long time since his sister asked something of him. He found it impossible to deny her. "Make it fast," he said slowly.

Having melted the iceberg a little, Lu Bao was on cloud nine. She led him towards her room. He stood near the room, not entering fully.

"Sit here," his sister said, pointing at the chair in her room. He didn't reply, simply stood in the same place. Lu Bao opened her wardrobe quickly and took out two dressed from it. She gave one to Lu Lian and held the other in her own hand.

"Brother Lu Feng, which color looks good? I mean which one will suit me the best." She asked, her voice filled with anticipation.

"What's the difference?" he asked after looking at the dresses and pinched the bridge of his nose.

He was quite frustrated when he saw what the two were up to, but didn't want to call them out on it because he didn't want to upset them.

"Brother Lu Feng, see carefully." She was yet to see the annoyance on his face and asked him again with excitement.

"Both are pink!" He said, getting really annoyed.

"No brother! This one has purple tinge in it, and that one has a blue tinge in it," Lu Bao said, pointing to the respective dresses.

He was about to m.o.a.n in frustration when someone cut him off.

The other chuckled. "You caught the right person," Lu Han said. He had seen the whole scene from outside the door and couldn't control his laughter when he saw his brother's annoyed and angry face.

"Brother Lu Han, you tell me which one is better." Lu Bao turned her gaze from Lu Feng to Lu Han.

"Don't ask me. I have completed my quota of questions for today." Lu Han sighed deeply.

"You can see the difference in color, right?" She anticipated a 'yes.'

"Only women have the sight to differentiate between the shades of the same color. Forgive your poor brother for not being able to help you," Lu Han said and sat in the chair that had been offered to Lu Feng.

Lu Feng sighed. "I am leaving. I need to go."

As Lu Feng was about to leave a small figure entered the room and stopped him in his way.
