A middle-aged man with gray hair was sitting cross-legged on a mountain that was covered in fog. He was Guan Jieying.

Any woman would’ve been attracted by his handsome appearance and mature vibe if they saw him.

“Hiu! Hiu!”

Li Yunyang climbed the mountain and knelt next to Guan Jieying. He said in frustration, “Martial Master, I’m back.”

Guan Jieying opened his eyes, utterly tranquil. He asked, “You failed?”

Li Yunyang nodded, unsatisfied.

“Not bad.” Guan Jieying chuckled. “You didn’t look for excuses as you did in the past.”

Li Yunyang opened his mouth, only to sigh. “This time, I was beaten fair and square.”

“Is that so?” Guan Jieying was interested. He played the recordings of the inter-school contest on his smart wristband.

When Guan Jieying saw Wang Hao on the video, his eyes widened in disbelief.

He couldn’t forget the face. It was Wang Tianyi, his fateful rival!

However, the guy was too young to be Wang Tianyi.

Is it Wang Tianyi’s son? Guan Jieying thought for a moment. He knew that Wang Tianyi had a son who was expelled from the Imperial Planet and hidden away by Su Mu.

He was pretty sure that this guy was Wang Tianyi’s son.

“Wang Tianyi, you are truly the rival of my life! Haha…” Guan Jieying remarked with mixed feelings before he laughed in delight.

He was the greatest genius in the Royal Academy and broke all kinds of records. Everybody, including himself, thought that he would lead an age.

However, everything faded like foam after the battle with Wang Tianyi. His fame and reputation were gone with his failure.

Frustrated, he left the Imperial Planet and traveled the universe.

Not only did he reach a higher level, but he also found Li Yunyang, a super genius.

All he needed to do was teach Li Yunyang and help him defeat Wang Hao to make up for his regrets.

However, Guan Jieying was shocked by Wang Hao’s Lightning Gait, Sword Proficiency, and abilities as a Level-Three Medical Grandmaster after watching the recording. He found it surreal.

He even suspected that the guy was not a human being.

“Martial Master, are you all right?” asked Li Yunyang concernedly.

“I’m fine!” Guan Jieying waved his hand. “Yunyang, are you confident in beating Wang Hao?”

Li Yunyang’s lips twitched. How could he defeat Wang Hao? They were not in the same dimension at all!

Guan Jieying patted Li Yunyang’s shoulder and said solemnly, “Yunyang, the art you’ve been practicing is the Soaring Dragon Art. You are the first person to practice it after the first president of the Universal Federation did. Do you know what it means?”

Li Yunyang shook his head. His master had been telling him that his Soaring Dragon Art was awesome, but his advancement was slow and his combat ability was unimpressive. He was of a mind to practice a different art.

“You are too young to know what the Soaring Dragon Art represents.” Guan Jieying sighed and said solemnly, “The first president crushed all enemies and ensured the hegemony of the Universal Federation in the galaxy, precisely with the Soaring Dragon Art.”

Li Yunyang was stunned. Then, why was his combat ability different from that of the first president? Was his Soaring Dragon Art a counterfeit?

Guan Jieying continued, “In the first phase of the Soaring Dragon Art, you need to nurture the Dragon Embryo with ninety percent of your strength. That’s why you are weak. However, after the Dragon Embryo is developed and unleashed, your combat ability will greatly change. So, you need patience and perseverance to practice the Soaring Dragon Art.”

Li Yunyang asked curiously, “Then, when can I unleash my Dragon Embryo?”

“When you can’t hold it back anymore.” Guan Jieying patted Li Yunyang’s shoulder and said gravely, “However, Wang Hao’s gifts were unimaginable even for me. I don’t think you can beat him even if you practice the Soaring Dragon Art. I need to take you someplace for special training.”

“Away from Earth?” Li Yunyang hesitated. Leaving Earth meant that he would never see Le Xuan again.

Guan Jieying nodded…

After Xue Qianqin was eliminated, she was sent to the Saint Heart Hospital for treatment.

Su Mu came into Xue Qianqin’s ward. He couldn’t help but chuckle when he saw how wary Xue Qianqin was. “Young lady, I’m not a bad guy.”

“Who are you?” asked Xue Qianqin as vigilantly as before.

“I am Su Mu.” Stroking his beard, Su Mu introduced himself.

“You’re the principal of Empyrean North University!” Xue Qianqin’s eyes widened in disbelief.

“I have a friend who has been looking for a disciple, but he never found anyone suitable.” Su Mu smiled. “It’s mostly because he is a Dark Spirit, same as you. Are you interested?”

Xue Qianqin covered her lips and nodded quickly, unable to catch her breath. She couldn’t believe that such a good thing was happening to her. Su Mu’s friend couldn’t be anyone simple.

Suddenly, Xue Qianqin realized something else. She hesitated. “About my enrollment…”

“Rest assured!” Su Mu waved his hand and said, “You will study under my friend, but you will be registered in Empyrean North University. All you need to do is to come back for the finals every semester.”

“Thank you, Senior Su Mu!” Xue Qianqin thanked him in excitement. She swore that she would hang and beat Wang Hao up when she returned someday.

Wang Hao, in the meantime, had no idea that a few more rivals had emerged. He spent more than twenty million on herbs, ready to make a helpful drug and reach the level of Martial Master.

After the purchase, Wang Hao received a message which stated that the screening test of the Four Focused Colleges would be held two days from now. It also informed that the test would be organized in a different way. All the test takers were advised to be prepared.

“Are you kidding me?” Wang Hao couldn’t help but complain. Why had the inter-school contest and the screening test changed their rules when the rules hadn’t been changed for hundreds of years?
