Chapter 139 Not Worth It!

The next day, at the entrance of the No. 3 school of Western Brilliance University, Ling Ling was carefully counting the bottles of drugs on a table.

Not far away, a bunch of college students were staring at the drugs, as if they were worried that the drugs would run away.

“All right!” Finishing the count, Ling Ling announced, “Line up and pay in turn. Don’t cut in line, or you won’t be allowed to buy our drug.”

The students hurried to line up, waiting for their turn.

Still more students were observing them from far away. After all, no dimensional drugs had ever been developed, and a rabbit who boasted an alternate dimension couldn’t confirm anything.

They had to witness someone create an alternate dimension after taking the drug, or they wouldn’t buy it.

Soon, the first student bought the drug and took it while everybody looked at him nervously.

“Shoot! What kind of drug is this? Why is it so salty?” The student stuck out his tongue uncomfortably.

Ling Ling shook her head. “I’m afraid that you failed to perceive an alternate dimension.”

“What? That’s all?” The student was stunned at the bottle in his hand. He had paid a thousand contribution points for something that tasted like salt water? Was it a joke?

Ling Ling nodded and said solemnly, “Based on our previous experience, your body should radiate dark light if you perceive the alternate dimension, but you didn’t.”

“Get out of the way now that you’ve failed.”

“That’s right. Master Wang Hao said yesterday that it’s up to your luck. It’s obvious that you’re not lucky enough.”

“Go away and stop wasting our time!” “I went to a fortune teller yesterday. He told me that today is my lucky day. Don’t waste my time!”

Scolded by other students, the first customer left in frustration. He had paid all his money to buy this bottle of dimensional drug, but he got nothing in the end.

As time went by, the students left gloomily one after another. They felt nothing except that the drug tasted like salt water.

They would’ve demanded a refund if they hadn’t believed in the endorsement of the Guild of Pharmacists.

On the spaceship, Le Xuan sighed as she watched the poor students outside be tricked nonstop.

His legs akimbo, Wang Hao was enjoying a banana. “What’s the look on your face? Do you think I’m wrong?”

Le Xuan rolled her eyes. Only a villain would think that Wang Hao was right.

However, with Wang Hao’s personality, he wouldn’t change at all even if she said anything, so she might as well save some time for herself.

“Dark light! This man has created an alternate dimension?”

Someone exclaimed outside. Wang Hao turned around, only to see that Chen Yao was wreathed in dark light with his eyes closed.

“Wang Hao, how much is your dimensional drug?” Le Xuan couldn’t help but ask. With an alternate dimension, she would be able to carry more ammo, which was very tempting for a gunfighter.

“You want it?” Wang Hao winked at Le Xuan.

Le Xuan glared at Wang Hao. “Be serious and don’t think about things that you shouldn’t.”

Wang Hao shrugged, feeling bored. “If you teach me how to condense spiritual energy bullets, I’ll give you a bottle of dimensional drug.”

“Spiritual energy bullets?” Le Xuan frowned. The spiritual energy bullet was her father’s unique skill.

Such bullets were highly destructive and penetrative. More importantly, one bullet wouldn’t consume too much spiritual energy, so a shooter could open fire almost unlimitedly.

“I can teach you on two conditions,” said Le Xuan seriously.

“What are your conditions?” Wang Hao asked as he nodded.

Le Xuan said, “Firstly, you can’t teach it to anybody else. Secondly, I want three bottles of dimensional drugs.”

“I didn’t know that you were so greedy, Le Xuan!” Wang Hao jumped to his feet. “I can accept your first condition, but do you know the cost for a bottle of dimensional drug? Three billion! Three bottles mean almost ten billion! Are you not kidding?”

Le Xuan glared at Wang Hao and said, “This is my father’s unique skill. Nothing in the Universal Federation can compare to it. Do you think it’s not worth ten billion?”

“No, it’s not!” Wang Hao shook his head. “But I think I can accept it if you offer me another two gunfighting techniques.”

“You… You…” Le Xuan’s face reddened in fury.

“Look, this man has truly grasped an alternate dimension!”

The students outside of the spaceship grew excited, because Chen Yao stored a stone in his alternate dimension in front of everyone, before he took it out again.

The students were so thrilled that even those who had been observing joined the line, too.

While the odds were low, what if they were lucky enough to hit the jackpot? Their lives would be changed.

In school, all societies would fight for them. After they graduated, they would be talents wanted by all companies.

Nobody could refuse such a temptation.

“Le Xuan, I’m offering you an opportunity because we’re friends,” Wang Hao said. “Otherwise, you would only get a bottle of disappointing salt water while fantasizing about the future like the people outside.”

Le Xuan rolled her eyes. When Wang Hao put it that way, it felt like she was getting a great bargain, but it was certainly not a bargain at all.

In the meantime, she realized that the most terrible thing about Wang Hao was not his cleverness or his unscrupulousness, but his sophistry.

“Fine. I’ll teach my father’s Gun Dance to you.” Le Xuan shook her head helplessly. Though her father’s techniques were precious, she felt that an alternate dimension was more important.

“Okay!” Wang Hao said. “We’re friends anyway, so I’ll cut you some slack and sell it to you at a lower price!”

Le Xuan looked at Wang Hao in disbelief. Is this really something that you should do to your friend?

“Right, why do you want three bottles of dimensional drugs?” asked Wang Hao curiously.

“One bottle for my mother, one for myself, and the last one for Weiwei.” Le Xuan counted her fingers.

“For Xia Weiwei?” Wang Hao was briefly stunned. He could understand that Le Xuan would give one bottle to her mother, but why would she give Xia Weiwei a bottle? Were these two women secretly in love?

Le Xuan smiled but did not reply, knowing that although Xia Weiwei seemed unimportant right now, the person at her back would shock everyone at the right moment…
