Aslan was dumbfounded at Shiva’s shout. He was at a loss for words. The powerful magical energy that had been emanating from his body was long gone.

Aslan didn’t know which part he should tackle first. He looked lost. “Wait a moment. He entrusted what? Who gave what to you…? What? Gun has his memories?”

Shiva looked at Aslan as if he found explaining it tiresome.

Aslan was a renowned genius magician in the Divine world. At an early age, he had made all the sage gods submit under his feet. He was an incredible being.

- Sage? Is that all you have to show for your age? You guys consider yourselves top-tier gods with so little knowledge? It’s unjustified. You guys will be more useful by dying and coming back as cat litter.

The sage gods had lived for thousands to tens of thousands of years. Some of them shed bitter tears as they came to the Great Spirits such as Shiva. They cried and asked the Great Spirits to punish Aslan. Others decided to crawl under the rule of Aslan.

Mimir was one of those who decided to serve Aslan.

He was almost like a bull in a china shop.

Anyway, Aslan was so talented that he was arrogant and he got away with being deceitful.

Shiva found it funny that such a god was at a loss for words because of his son.

“No way… It can’t be…” A confused Aslan glared at Shiva as if the Great Spirit were talking nonsense.

“Don’t give me that nonsense. There is no way Gun has his memories. I already checked it. There is no way I would’ve failed to pick up on it…!”

Shiva snorted. As a Great Spirit, he acknowledged Aslan’s skill level. If he were being honest, Aslan was the most talented god in the Divine world. No creature from any world could escape Aslan’s magic. However, this fact was useless.

“Your son is a being that transcends the gods. Why would your ability work against him?”

“!”

“It’s a simple concept. He’s a being that can manipulate divine providence. Why would your abilities work against him? If you look into his head, he can show you fake memories. If you try to translate his words, he can just create a fake language.”

“…!”

“Your son used his abilities to dupe you, idiot.”

Aslan couldn’t close his mouth. All of Baby Lee Gun’s thoughts and words he had read through the Translation ability were faked.

There was probably only one thought that he had read correctly.

- Byaa?

- [It’s so bright.]

Afterward, Lee Gun had used his abilities to dupe Aslan.

Aslan was so shocked that he was unable to say anything. However, it didn’t last long. “Why should I believe you? Why would Gun go through such a cumbersome and useless act? Also, you said he entrusted his memories to you! That sounds like nonsense!”

Aslan had gone to the World of Emptiness to find his son. This was why he didn’t want to believe Shiva’s words.

An annoyed Shiva tapped the back of his neck when he saw the confused Aslan. “Damn it! You’re such an idiot.” He hadn’t planned on telling this story.

* * *

It was an incident before Lee Gun went to fight the final battle with Universe.

In the gutter of the World of Emptiness, where they kept the troublesome prisoners, Lee Gun had been placed under special observation because he had tried to fight Universe. It wasn’t just once. He had done it multiple times.

Of course, he wasn’t alone.

“Oh wow! This is a record. You lasted longer than usual.”

“Ha ha ha.”

Lee Gun had been brought here by the guards. He looked at his roommate after being tossed into the room. It was a man with long unkempt black hair who looked full of madness. His smirk was uncanny.

Lee Gun was locked up in a room that housed someone rumored to be crazy. This being had been here for several hundred years, and the guards could do nothing to him. This was why he was permanently confined to this region.

He was vicious, powerful, tyrannical, and also nuts. He killed all the guards and residents of the World of Emptiness who got close to him by biting into them. It was a mess.

All his powers had been sealed, yet he couldn’t be controlled. That was why Lee Gun was designated to be his roommate.

Every one of this being’s roommates had not lasted a day. Their bodies were ripped apart and sent out as corpses.

The stronger beings had lasted a week before they were sent out as corpses. It was as if the owner of the room chose to play around with them.

Anyway, it was an infamous room.

- We don’t want to do this, but you give us no choice. I don’t know how long you’ll last inside that place, but while you’re alive, try to get along with him.

- Who knows? He might look kindly at you since you guys share the same origin.

Origin? At first, he didn’t really believe that claim.

Anyway, that madman was Shiva. Shiva was tickled by the fact that Lee Gun was a fellow Zodiac.

- I got an important guess. It has been a while since I’ve been able to hear news about my homeland.

Shiva was having so much fun that he planned on destroying Lee Gun with great care.

In the end, Lee Gun had to fight the Great Spirit with his life on the line for three straight months. He didn’t even get to rest and had almost died.

Lee Gun had fought most of the gods in the Divine world, but Shiva had been one of the strongest.

After almost dying, Lee Gun finally beat Shiva. It led to the two men introducing themselves to each other.

Soon, Lee Gun told Shiva why he had come to the World of Emptiness.

- Is that so? You went looking for your friend in the Divine world, and you killed all the Great Spirits. It led to you becoming the new Great Spirit. Then you came here because you wanted to save some people? You really are crazy.

- Yes. That’s why you should kneel to me too, idiot.

- Hmmph. You’re a brat who is still wet behind the ears, yet you speak like that?

- Buzz off! Now that I think about it, I killed your comrades. What place were you affiliated with? Don’t resent me too much for it.

- I was the Great Spirit of Mahabharata.

- Ah. It was the place with those imbeciles…

- I had a wife and an unborn daughter that I had to leave behind.

- Hmmph. I don’t know who they are, but I bet they are glad you’re here. Your wife and daughter are probably happy since they don’t need you. I’m sure the two of them are leading a new life after meeting their new daddy. Don’t worry too much about them.

- If they can be happy, I don’t care about that. I just hope they are still alive. The only thing that worries me is that my wife is a monarch. There is no way the Zodiacs would leave her alone.

- Hmmph. You really are a crazy Zodiac. You dare hook up with a monarch— Huh?

Lee Gun suddenly became uneasy. Monarch? …monarch?

Wait a moment. Didn’t an incident like that happen to someone close to him? A forbidden love between a Zodiac and a monarch…. One Great Spirit was sent to the World of Emptiness as a consequence…

Lee Gun suddenly felt an uneasiness wash over his body. He glanced at Shiva, whose entire body was wrecked, and asked, “The unborn daughter of yours… Did you perhaps give her a name?”

“Yes. We agreed to name her Hailey when she was born.”

“….”

Lee Gun started to sweat as he looked at Shiva. He had beaten Shiva until the god was half dead.

Damn it!

Lee Gun knew he was screwed.

This was how Lee Gun and Shiva had met each other.

Anyway, the two of them had shared several adventures, and right before he finally went to kill Universe, Lee Gun said something to Shiva.

“What? You want me to hold on to something for you?” Shiva asked.

“Yes.”

“I wondered what you wanted to say to me when you created this space.”

Lee Gun had used an ability he had acquired in the World of Emptiness and created a subspace that no one could eavesdrop on.

Inside the subspace, he placed a hand over his head to create an item. It looked like a small bottle that contained a liquid.

“After I kill Universe, I don’t think things will end there.”

“You don’t think it’ll be the end?”

“I don’t know. It’s just a feeling that I have. After fighting him several times, I realized he oddly doesn’t have memories before a certain point.” Lee Gun was sure of it.

“From what I gleaned from my conversation with him, Universe wasn't Universe from the start. I’m pretty sure a previous Universe existed before him, and the current one doesn’t seem to have memories before he ascended to that seat. It’s strange.”

Lee Gun thought something that he couldn’t see was going on. This was why he decided to copy his memories. As a manufacturing god, he had the ability to do this.

“Something might happen to me, so I want to entrust this to you.”

“You want to entrust it to me?”

“After I kill Universe, a crack will form in the World of Emptiness. I want you to use that opportunity to escape this place. If I lose my memories, I want you to give them to me after I return to the earth.”

Shiva scoffed as if Lee Gun was being ridiculous. “What if I say no?”

Lee Gun took out another bottle.

The look in Shiva’s eyes changed when he saw it. “You bastard….”

The bottle contained Hailey’s memories.

“I’ll give you this. Of course, it’s your choice as her father if you want to give this to the reborn Hailey.”

The dumbfounded Shiva snatched the bottle away. He furrowed his brows. “Did you make any copies?”

“There is only one. I wouldn’t do such a thing.” Lee Gun looked at it with a bit of bitterness.

When Lee Gun killed Universe, Hailey would be reborn on the earth. After being reborn, Hailey would have the right to lead a new life.

He wouldn’t give Hailey’s memories from her past life just because he wanted to satisfy his own desire.

Lee Gun held up his memories, which he had copied. “I want you to keep my ‘true’ memories. Then I want you to use your ability of destruction to attack my head and destroy the memory of this conversation.”

Universe was a monster that was beyond imagination. It could read the memories and feelings of its opponent at will.

If Universe found out that a copy of Lee Gun’s memories existed out there, he might intervene in some way.

This was why Lee Gun made it so that he didn’t remember the “real” plan.

He went to meet Universe after this memory about the conversation was destroyed. The only one who knew the plan was Shiva.

It was unclear as to how long had passed. Shiva, who had taken Lee Gun’s memories, furrowed his brows. “Of course, I don’t plan on returning Hailey’s memories to her. I especially don’t plan on returning your memories to you. When I return to the earth, I’ll keep it in storage. It’ll be calamitous if someone like you regains your memories.”

“Yes. That’s enough.” Lee Gun grinned.

At the time, Shiva didn’t know why Lee Gun was laughing. He learned the reason behind it long after, when Lee Gun had reappeared on the earth.

At that time, the world was in a state of turmoil because everyone thought a Red-zone-rank monster had invaded the earth.

Shiva, who had been residing in the US, bit his tongue when he discovered a flashing light coming from his house’s storage room. As soon as he ran to the storage room, he flinched.

‘It’s gone.’

Lee Gun’s memories, which he had hidden in the corner of the storage room, were missing.

Realizing what had happened, Shiva ground his teeth. “That bastard…”

Shiva had wondered why Lee Gun had been so confident in entrusting his memories to him. The memories would automatically return to Lee Gun as soon as he returned to the earth.

Anyway, that was what happened.

* * *

After he had heard the entire story, Aslan’s mouth fell open. From what he had gathered, Lee Gun had regained his memories as soon as he had landed in front of Hugo’s house!

“Is that why you…!”

Was this why Shiva had gone underground with his family? It was because he knew Lee Gun had regained his memories?!

That seemed to be the case. Shiva gnashed his teeth. “I still have Hailey’s memories, but there is no way I’ll let your son meet my cute daughter.”

Shocked, Aslan was unable to close his mouth.

* * *

Around that time, a hiccuping baby arrived on the top floor of a building. The room that Lee Gun had sought held a three-year-old girl who was sound asleep.

“Byaa.”

Lee Gun smiled when he saw Hailey peacefully sleeping.

Hailey was sleeping while clutching a doll that looked like a snake.

“Byaa… Byaa….”

A content Lee Gun had been watching Hailey when he suddenly flinched. He received a physiological signal.

‘Damn this body of a baby!!’

It was great that he was able to reincarnate. The problem was that he possessed the body of a baby!

‘Damn it! It doesn’t matter if I have my memories if things are like this!’

While his head contained the real Lee Gun, his body was that of a baby. He wasn’t potty trained. It also meant his physiological activities, such as sleeping, were that of a baby. He couldn’t control his bodily functions, so…

‘Damn it! How many times do I have to eat and poop in a day!!’

He knew it in his head, but he never imagined a baby had to eat and poop so much in a day! Of course, it would be bad manners to go in front of Hailey. So Baby Lee Gun groaned as he tried to fly out of the room.

However…

“!?”

The sleeping Hailey suddenly grabbed Lee Gun.
