Jing Yan only kept it close to her heart instead of voicing her questions. Thinking back to the videos and rumors she had seen the day before and then looking at Fangzheng's eyes, she felt even more respect for him. She was also curious as to what sort of monk he was. Could it be that he was really a living Buddha?

"Amitabha. Patron, if you would like to help This Penniless Monk, please arrange the items properly for me. This is not a trivial task."

The man looked at the items in the box and immediately laughed. This was considered an arduous task? He must be joking! He came forward in high spirits to help.

When the villagers saw this they felt tempted too. They could obtain items just by doing work? That was great!

They began looking at Fangzheng with hopeful eyes and Fangzheng did not disappoint them. He said to everyone, "This Penniless Monk still has boxes in the car. Is anyone willing to help?"

"Me! Me! Me! Me!"

"I'll do it!"

"I'm strong!"

...

"Big Brother can I get a stationery case if I help you carry a box? I want that pink one..." The girl that Jing Yan had attempted to gift came to Fangzheng's side and asked carefully.

Fangzheng looked at the villagers that had rushed forward. There were even children among them. He said with a smile, "Patrons, there's no rush. Anyone who helps will be rewarded."

Just as his voice faded away, the villagers rushed up. A few taller ones with longer arms moved the items away in almost an instant.

Fangzheng didn't need to do anything as Jing Yan was already prepared. She handed out clothes as a reward. The villagers beamed when they received their rewards. Those that failed to help were left disappointed...

Especially the young girl beside Fangzheng. Her large eyes blinked and because she was short and weak she was unable to provide any help. Her aggrieved tears welled up in her eyes as she stretched her neck out to look into the car, hoping to find something she could carry out... Unfortunately the car was empty...

Jing Yan found it unbearable when she saw this. Just as she was about to do something, Fangzheng squatted and said to the girl, "Young Patron, This Penniless Monk still has one here. Can you carry this over there for This Penniless Monk?"

Fangzheng produced a tiny paper bag in his hand like it was magic.

Jing Yan was stunned. Paper bag? That could work too?

The little girl was very innocent. She took it and ran over in high spirits. She carefully placed the paper bag on a box. Afraid that it would be blown away by the wind, she chose the perfect spot in between the boxes to place the paper bag. Only then did she run back satisfied.

Fangzheng took out a pink stationery case and handed it to her. He smiled, "Thank you, Young Patron. This is what you deserve. As long as you are willing to work hard, there is nothing you can't get."

The young girl nodded as though she understood him even though she didn't. She happily ran off with the pink stationery case.

As for the villagers who heard that, they revealed a ruminative look. Fangzheng's words kept resonating in their hearts. "As long as you are willing to work hard, there is nothing you can't get!" Thinking back to their lives, there were some who looked ashamed of themselves.

"What was in that paper bag of yours? Why is it so mysterious?" Jing Yan asked quietly.

Fangzheng chuckled "It was nothing. It was just a paper bag."

Jing Yan: "@#¥#@..."

"This Penniless Monk does not know how you should hand out those things you have. So the rest is up to you."

Jing Yan nodded. "Venerable Fangzheng, I understand your intent. Don't worry. I will not hand things out so mindlessly anymore. I will give them the respect they deserve."

When Fangzheng heard that, he pressed his palms together. "Amitabha."

Jing Yan smiled and walked over. She began asking for people to open the boxes, arranging the items, and later, got people to help call out to others. In summary, Jing Yan had unending tasks to hand out to the rest. She would then give them whatever they needed as a reward.

Upon seeing this Fangzheng nodded his head slightly and thought to himself, "Indeed, such jobs should be done by professionals."

Just as Fangzheng and Jing Yan were busying themselves a black van drove over from afar. It immediately stopped when it entered the village. The doors open and five men with dyed blond hair alighted. They wore black short-sleeved shirts which had the words 'Great Bull Livestreaming Charity' imprinted on them. Four of them were stout and the last was just a bit short of tall. None of them looked decent in any way.

Fangzheng frowned. Zen Master One Finger had once said that one's looks stemmed from the heart. Bad people did not naturally have an evil face but they would definitely have their evil notions plastered across their faces! For example their eyes, the disposition they exuded or the various expressions... it was difficult for one to completely conceal their true nature unless they were skilled deceivers. The five men did not plan on concealing their intentions at all. Their muscles exuded a fierceness that if more people were around, they could probably string their fierce muscles together to circle the Earth a few times.

"Such people can do charity too? Are they for real?" Fangzheng could not help but mutter inwardly.

Jing Yan also saw the group of people and stopped what she was doing and walked over. She whispered, "Venerable Fangzheng, they are the reason why I came today. I thought it was only a rumor but it looks like it's real..."

"What's real?" Fangzheng was a little taken aback. Thinking back to what Jing Yan had just said, Fangzheng finally understood something. Jing Yan was not here to particularly do acts of charity. She had an ulterior motive!

"Here! Here! Here! Everyone, come over! Those living in poverty, come over! Money will be handed out!" The short man took out a stack of bills and shouted.

Another tall man took out a cell phone and recorded the entire process. As he recorded, he said, "Hey guys! We are members of the Great Bull Charity Organization. Today we have come to the poorest village in our province, Dongliang Village. People now live well but we cannot forget our fellow men who live in poverty and hardship. Therefore, us brothers have established the Great Bull Charity Organization. The goal is to share our love with society! We do not have any catchy slogans or cooperation with any charitable organizations. We are ourselves! What we do is simple and crude! We give money! Friends who like us, please give us a Like and send us some tips. Thank you! If you wish to join us, there's no need to come personally. Every cent you donate will be donated by us! We only take a tiny fee for our event. We stream it live and how much tipped is how much is donated!"

The man raised his cell phone high and circled the area once. The villagers in tattered clothes and the thin children who were only bones were recorded. The streaming chat boiled into a frenzy.

"This is way too pitiful."

"Just looking at those children pains my heart."

"I wouldn't have felt much before I became a parent but now that i am one, I really can't stand by and do nothing. I'll tip a Rocket!"

"It's terrible. I can't understand. If the village is so poor, why don't they enter the city to work? They wouldn't be this poor if they just did some odd jobs, right?"
