“Oh… you know her name?” Tong Yan knew that his mother kept tabs on him all the year round.
It was not because of Tong Yan’s tyranny that there were no posts about him on the school forums. This was all thanks to the Tong family. On the one hand, Yin Hua was a member of the entertainment industry. As the child of a celebrity, the press would always be searching for any news about him. When he was 10 year old, he was severely reprimanded for his tattoos on the internet. At the time, Yin Hua’s team made up a touching story to cool down the heat.
On top of that, he was the heir of the Tong family business, so the family didn’t want any stains on him.
Tong Yan was not surprised that she knew about Xu Xinduo. He figured that Xu Xinduo’s family background had already been investigated. She might have even gotten the news that he went to hospital with her.
He was the heir of the Tong family. The best choice for his future wife would be someone who was well-matched in terms of social status. Or she was stunningly beautiful, had a certain reputation, and could help socialize like Madam Yin Hua.
Xu Xinduo was not suitable for that.
Even the “biological” daughter of the Mu family would have been rejected. To the Tong family, Mu family could only be regarded as a small family who was too inferior to show any relationship with in public.
Yin Hua answered on the phone, “Didn’t you introduce her to me, yourself last time?”
Tong Yan whimpered: “Well, it’s her. You don’t need to worry about it, I can handle things here.”
“In which hospital are you in?”
This question surprised Tong Yan. He couldn’t help asking: “You’re not going to come here, right? Mom! It’s really easy for you to get on the news. What if there is some news saying that you are coming here for a pregnancy test for your second child? Do you want to show that you can give birth to a baby as a middle-aged woman, or do you want to praise my dad for being old but vigorous?”
“I’m not middle-aged!!!”
“Yes, yes, you are in your prime.”
In the end, Tong Yan still told her the location of the hospital.
Not long after Xu Xinduo was transferred to the gynecology department, Tong Yan couldn’t find any suitable bed for her there. He pushed the bed into the corridor. It was relatively quiet, not too cold, and not so noisy.
Deyu also finished the formalities and followed Tong Yan.
The head nurse would come to examine Xu Xinduo from time to time and see if she was awake. If she did not wake up soon, follow-up treatment would be needed.
Deyu chatted with the head nurse for some time, when the nurse said: “If a young lady like her is suffering from dysmenorrhea. It’s probably because of endometriosis that the pain was so serious. We will do a thorough checkup so don’t worry.”
Deyu followed up and asked, “Can it be fixed once she gets older?”
“If her cervical canal is narrow, it can be relieved after giving birth. It depends on her physical condition.”
While they were chatting, Lou Xu also rushed over. When she reached the bed, she looked at Xu Xinduo and asked Tong Yan: “Why did she suddenly faint? I was so anxious when I heard about it.”
Lou Xu had heard about everything that happened some time ago. The scene of Tong Yan leaving the school with Xu Xinduo in his arms was wildly gossiped throughout the school. She was really worried, when she couldn’t get in touch with Tong Yan, so she called Xu Xinduo’s mobile phone.
Luckily Tong Yan answered the call and told Lou Xu where they were. Lou Xu immediately rushed over.
“Dysmenorrhea.” Tong Yan replied.
