Chapter 138: Chen Shu Appeared Crazy? (4)
Chen Shu suddenly remembered the supernatural events that he had experienced with Ye Sui before. From the beginning with the pen to the present, it seemed like the ghosts were playing pranks.
Chen Shu solemnly said, “No matter who you are, leave now, don’t disturb my wife’s rest.”
He walked quickly to the window and closed it. The wind stopped blowing in, as the curtains once again became stationary.
When Chen Shu turned around to walk back to the desk, the pen on the table moved up and brushed on the blank paper. It appeared that the ghost only dared to pick the pen when he was so far apart.
Ordinary people would be absolutely frightened when they saw such a scene at night, but Chen Shu didn’t change his face, and even walked closer to the table.
When he walked to the table, the pen fell back on the table with a snap sound, as if the scene just now was nothing but an illusion.
Chen Shu looked down at the piece of paper with four words written on it.
“I am Ye Sui.”
These words were reflected in Chen Shu’s eyes with great impact. He stared at it for a while, then tremblingly took up the paper.
Chen Shu looked at it over and over again, then he looked around the corners of the ward and said, “Ye Sui, is that really you?”
As soon as the voice fell, the furnishings in a corner of the ward fell off, seeming to have answered his question just now.
Chen Shu squeezed the paper in his hand excitedly, not even knowing where to start.
Chen Shu took out a blank piece of paper and put it on the table again, and picked the pen on the side as he said, “You can continue to write.”
After Chen Shu finished speaking, the pen didn’t move for a long time, nor did it moved up and wrote on the paper as before.
Chen Shu immediately came back to his senses. He almost forgot about his yang physique, and it could hurt ghosts and Ye Sui at that time.
Chen Shu quickly retreated a few steps, making a distance from the table.
A few seconds later, the pen moved up again, and after writing, the blank paper flew lightly and floated to Chen Shu’s feet.
“I have always been by your side, so you have to take good care of yourself.”
Chen Shu was as fragile as a child at this time. He lovingly looked at the words on the paper, and his voice sounded apologetic, “I will definitely listen to you in the future.”
Since Chen Shu knew about Ye Sui’s existence, they have been communicating through writing on the papers.
Because of this reason, the state of Chen Shu’s suddenly improved a lot. Although he still worked hard and communicated with people before, now it seemed like he had a real soul.
Chen Shu also took the initiative to call Yan Lan, “Mother-in-law, do you still remember Ye Sui’s favorite dishes at home? Can you help me make them tomorrow?”
When Yan Lan heard Chen Shu’s words, she immediately smiled, and the big stone in her heart was also lifted up. After Ye Sui fell into a coma, Chen Shu never had a good meal.
Yan Lan also hoped that Ye Sui would wake up soon, but she didn’t want Chen Shu’s body to collapse like this.
Yan Lan’s voice choked with sobs as she replied, “Okay, okay, what else do you want to eat, I will make it for you.”
The next day, Wang Chuan was about to go to the ward to meet Chen Shu. However, as soon as he walked out of the elevator, he saw Chen Shu walking ahead.
Before President Chen said anything, Wang Chuan felt that something was wrong.
The sunlight came in from the window at the end of the corridor. Though this was the most common thing, but from President Chen’s perspective, it seemed to be an enemy.
President Chen walked cautiously in a place where there was no sunlight, especially avoiding it. He felt perplexed and thought that the corridor was empty, does he need to go so far?
The doubt in Wang Chuan’s heart had not yet been solved when the elevator door opened, and Yan Lan walked out of the elevator with a happy expression, carrying a large bag of things in her hand.
Upon seeing this, Wang Chuan immediately stepped forward and took it over, “What are these?”
Yan Lan happily said, “Chen Shu said he wanted to eat these and specially asked me to make some for him.” Yan Lan didn’t make a little food. In order to let Chen Shu eat more, she specially made several kinds of dishes.
Wang Chuan almost thought that his were defective. After Ye Sui fell into a coma, Chen Shu didn’t care about other things. However, he finally took the initiative to eat for the first time.
Wang Chuan with a confused look, carried the big bags and walking with Yan Lan into the ward. When Chen Shu saw them come in, he smiled and stood up to greet them.
Both Yan Lan and Wang Chuan were taken aback by such a big change in Chen Shu. He seemed to have returned to his previous self, “Mother-in-law, you really have worked hard.”
Chen Shu knew that Ye Sui liked these dishes. Even though, Ye Sui couldn’t eat them, he still wanted to eat while accompanying her.
Chen Shu walked to the edge of the table and neatly arranged the hot dishes on the table. Strangely, he moved the things that Ye Sui liked to the opposite side of the table.
Chen Shu also took out an extra bowl with a pair of chopsticks and placed it on the opposite side. Under the shocked eyes of Wang Chuan and Yan Lan, he picked up the food with the chopsticks and put it in the opposite bowl.
“Ye Sui, this dish is your favourite.”
Chen Shu was clearly speaking to air, but his expression was as if Ye Sui was really sitting in front of him and eating with him.
Chen Shu looked at the other side as he waited for a while, and then began to eat with satisfaction.
Wang Chuan and Yan Lan, who were standing on the side were already dumbfounded. They couldn’t even utter a word. They turned their heads in unison and looked at each other.
Yan Lan thought distressingly, my son-in-law appeared crazy.
Wang Chuan thought in panic, President Chen seemed to be not right.
