Chapter 15.3 Dont Leave Me Part 3

If Chen Shu is not home, she would be very afraid.

When Ye Sui entered the room, there was no light seen in the living room. Ye Sui felt a little strange. She fumbled for the switch on the wall.

With a crash, the lights lit up and filled the room. But the house looked empty and Chen Shu’s presence couldn’t be found in the house.

On weekdays, Chen Shu’s shoes would be neatly placed in the porch, but this time it was not.

“Chen Shu.” Ye Sui said while shivering, she wanted to get response from Chen Shu, yet in the empty living room only the wind noise kept echoing in her ear.

It’s really strange, that Chen Shu always strictly abides by his time. He was never late. Did he do something today?

Ye Sui dared not get into the room alone. She saw from a distance a few ghosts outside the window on the second floor. Since Chen Shu was not there, those ghosts were easy to get in.

Ye Sui sat on the sofa where Chen Shu was often seated. She took a coat and put it over her body, covering her head tightly sealed.

The mobile phone that Ye Sui’s carrying was placed inside her coat. The time passed by, it was like an endless suffering for Ye Sui.

All of a sudden her phone screen lit up, showing it was already ten o’clock in the evening, yet Chen Shu was still not home. When she had the mind to call Chen Shu, but then all of a sudden the door opened.

Ye Sui unveiled her coat and looked at the door. Seeing Chen Shu was bowing his head and changing his shoes. As Ye Sui observed Chen Shu’s movements, she frowned slightly.

Chen Shu did not place his shoes on the shoe rack in order as usual. But placed them in some disorderly manner.

Ye Sui could tell something was off. She felt that Chen Shu was a little different tonight.

Chen Shu hung his head and did not look at Ye Sui. His mood was low and the fragrance that surrounded him was filled with faint wine.

According to Ye Sui, Chen Shu had never drunk alcohol.

Ye Sui uttered in doubtful tone, “Chen Shu?”

At this time, Chen Shu was first like a wandering soul with nowhere to go. His dark eyes were bloodshot, and the whole person seemed to be exhausted to the extreme.

Chen Shu replied softly to Ye Sui.

“Hm.”

But when Chen Shu opened his mouth, his eyes also was not focused, just instinctively answering questions from Ye Sui.

With this word, Chen Shu did not continue to speak and went straight to his room.

Though Ye Sui and Chen Shu had been living under the same roof for so long, they actually had no real communication.

According to Chen Shu’s current state, Ye Sui thought it might be better to leave him alone for a while.

It’s getting late and Ye Sui had to go to the set production tomorrow morning. After she went back to her room and washes, she went to bed directly. But she just couldn’t sleep well.

When Ye Sui was just sleeping in a daze, she was suddenly awakened by a quick knocked on the door.

Ye Sui thought she was dreaming. She opened her eyes and looked at the dark ceiling spaced out.

Bang bang bang-

Late at night, knocked on the door fell into the silent night, became somewhat abrupt.

Ye Sui suddenly woke up, she lifted the quilt, got off the bed and moved to the door bit by bit. Ye Sui opened the door without a second thought.

All the lights in the house went out, only the moonlight came in through the window at the end of the corridor that spread a thin light spot on the floor.

Chen Shu was standing by the door, his body was tall. Ye Sui felt that the light in front of her was blocked by half. Chen Shu was like hiding the light behind his back. His face was hidden in the shadow and she could not see clearly

He didn’t seem to be awake. He looked more like sleepwalking.

Ye Sui was bare feet on the ground, the floor was cold, she stretched out her hand and waved in front of Chen Shu. Chen Shu seemed to be invisible, completely no response.

He looked vaguely like a lonely child.

Ye Sui’s tone was confused: “Chen Shu, you …” are you all right?

Before Ye Sui had finished speaking, Chen Shu suddenly opened his mouth.

Chen Shu was completely different from what he had shown to outsiders before. The original clear voice became empty, hiding a trace of uneasiness and fragility.

“Don’t leave me.”
