Chapter 134: The Ancient Sword (1)

The moment Ye Sui stretched out her hand to hold the sword, she didn’t think about anything else. She just didn’t want the old master to hurt these ghosts.

The sword used by the old master was very sharp, and Ye Sui was in haste. So, it cut open Ye Sui’s skin when she touched it.

Ye Sui felt severe pain in her palm. She could feel her palm getting moist, and fresh blood flowed from the wound to the surface of the sword.

The blade was very cold. An extremely cold touch had spread to Ye Sui’s hand, as if her blood was about to be frozen.

“Imperial Concubine!” An eager voice came from both sides. Both the ghost minister and the general ghost looked at Ye Sui’s hand worriedly.

Chen Shu’s heart shrank, losing his calm. His expression suddenly became bewildered. He took a few steps forward and held Ye Sui’s wrist. He was afraid that Ye Sui’s wound would become worse, so he pressed it lightly.

“Let go.” Chen Shu’s voice deeply fell, with his face saying not allowing others to interfere.

Ye Sui didn’t hear what Chen Shu was saying. She still held the sword in her hand, and smiled calmly at Chen Shu. “Please wait for me.”

Chen Su failed to persuade Ye Sui. His eyes fell towards the “main culprit”. Hhe tried to suppress his anger and tried to calm his emotions.

The old master was shocked by Ye Sui’s sudden behaviour. When Chen Shu’s cold eyes looked at him, he suddenly woke up and realized something.

“Let go of your hand and stop the blood first.” The old master persuaded Ye Sui. He saw that Ye Sui still didn’t let go, so he immediately advised.

“I won’t hurt them anymore.”

After hearing these words, Ye Sui removed her hand from the sword. The palm of her hand was full of blood, and the wound was already deep.

The old master put away the sword, and his hand dropped weakly to his side. He was shocked by Ye Sui’s sudden action to help these ghosts.

When Ye Sui’s hand moved away, Chen Shu quickly took off his coat and wrapped it around Ye Sui’s hand. He was frowning and his eyes were full of anger.

Chen Shu tightly wrapped his coat on Ye Sui’s wound , wanting to stop the bleeding as soon as possible. Chen Shu’s voice was obviously flustered. “Let’s go to the hospital now.”

Ye Sui squeezed her palm and pulled Chen Shu’s hand. “I’m fine, let’s solve the problem first then go.”

Chen Shu didn’t say a word, he obviously disagreed with Ye Sui’s suggestion. Ye Sui saw Chen Shu’s unwillingness, so she leaned towards Chen Shu.

“Husband, I’m really fine. Just this once, next time I will definitely listen to your advice.” Ye Sui lowered her voice to prevent others from hearing, but her tone was deliberately a little bit coquettish.

Although Chen Shu was not very happy, he could only stay.

Ye Sui looked at the old master. “Hundreds of years have passed. The massacre at that time was to save more lives, isn’t it?”

If there were no generals ghost fighting on the battlefield, no more people would survive.

“If he was born in a peaceful dynasty, would anyone want to have blood on his hands?” Ye Sui’s lips were surprisingly a little pale because of the bleeding, but her eyes were surprisingly firm.

“Old master, let them reincarnate. They have been trapped here for hundreds of years.”

The old master looked dazed. He was touched by Ye Sui’s words. He forced a smile and put away the sword in his hand. “I am too old-fashioned, I will leave now.”

Ye Sui felt relieved when she heard what the old master said. A smile appeared on the corner of her mouth, then she nodded at the old master: “Thank you.”

The old master waved his hand again and again. He packed up his belongings and left the Xia Zhou Palace Museum with his apprentice.

The general ghost and ghost minister stood on the side with their eyes turning red. They both looked at Ye Sui with gratitude.

The ghost minister wished to meet the Crown Prince and Imperial Concubine for the last time. Now, his wishes were fulfilled and there was no point in continuing to linger here.

The ghost minister faced Ye Sui and Chen Shu, then kowtowed. His eyes were filled with relief that his wishes were finally fulfilled.

Ye Sui didn’t guess wrong. When the ghost minister finished his salute, his figure gradually became blurred, and then he disappeared.

Ye Sui could see this scene, but Chen Shu couldn’t see it. Ye Sui squeezed Chen Shu’s hand. “He disappeared.”

It seemed that the general ghost’s wish was almost fulfilled, and he should be reincarnated like the ghost minister and start a new life.

The general ghost picked up the ancient sword and bowed to Ye Sui. The general ghost couldn’t speak, so naturally, he couldn’t say his thoughts to Ye Sui.

In the next second, the general ghost pointed to the ancient sword. Ye Sui could somewhat guess his intention. The general ghost had caused some people unnecessary trouble. He should be going back now.

The general ghost retreated to the side, and after a while, he disappeared together with the ancient sword.

Ye Sui looked at Chen Shu, and her tone was a little sad. “They already left.”

Chen Shu patted Ye Sui on the shoulder. He couldn’t witness the whole process like Ye Sui, and naturally, he couldn’t feel the same as her.

For Chen Shu, the most important thing was to treat the wound on Ye Sui’s hand.

Chen Shu held Ye Sui’s hand and pointed at the wound. “Now we can go to the hospital, right?” Chen Shu was worried and couldn’t relax.

Ye Sui nodded. “Let’s go.”

Before Ye Sui walked out of the palace, she turned around and took a last look. At this time, the East Palace was extremely quiet. As before, it was absolutely empty and without a trace.

The moment Ye Sui opened the door, a gentle breeze rolled up and passed her feet with a faint sense of spring.

Chen Shu closed the door of the East Palace. He closed down everything that had happened inside.

Not long after Chen Shu and Ye Sui left the East Palace, they happened to meet Curator Xia.He didn’t know they were here, and he was slightly startled.

Curator Xia only knew that he had invited the old master to come and check, but he didn’t expect Ye Sui to be here.

Ye Sui took the initiative to smile and said, “I’m sorry Curator Xia. For some reason, I must come here. I just came in without telling you.”

Ye Sui pointed to the East Palace behind her. “The Old Master has already left, and the things here are almost resolved. Next time, there will be no more spiritual events.”
