Ch.230 [Food Becomes Vomit] Punishment (3)

Even as he fell, he still tried to keep his eyes open to pat the little elephant’s butt, indicating for him to leave quickly.

The little elephant ran around Mark in circles, tears sparkling in his eyes. He kept on linking his trunk to Mark’s.

The little elephant kept on flapping his ears, anxiously. He didn’t have the power to take Mark with him. He was really lost and desperate. He raised his trunk in the air and cried out in pain, the sorrowful noise expanding.

At the same time, Lin Yueqi pointed at the west and exclaimed, “Over there! They’re over there!”

Everyone didn’t dare to hesitate. They immediately ran to the west. When they arrived, Mark was already on the ground.

Mark was clearly really nervous upon seeing them. His helpless gaze turned vigorous and he did his past to pat the little elephant away.

As if to express his decision, the little elephant sat down and guarded Mark.

When Lin Yueqi was in America training, she learned to communicate with elephants. The little elephant had no potential for attack. She slowly moved closer to him, attempting to comfort him.

Lu Ting and Zhou Qing carefully examined Mark. After a bit, they came to the conclusion, “Mark shouldn’t be in danger with this amount of sedative injected in him. Thankfully, I have some emergency treatment medicine. I’ll give him a shot. If it’s quick, he should be able to recover in forty-five minutes.”

Everyone sighed when they heard that. Giving shots for elephants was a necessary skill they learned during training. It was to prevent emergencies. They thought that they wouldn’t need to know this but they didn’t expect this to happen. After they gave Mark the injection, Leita sent Mark’s location to the respective departments again. They were quickly coming over to take over from there.

In order to pursue Mark, they split into three teams and went in different directions.

One of the teams bumped into Li Murou.

She wanted to escape but a curly-haired man shot her with a sedative so she lost any ability to attack.

The leader kicked the man who shot at Li Murou and said angrily, “Didn’t you see that she’s Chinese? Unless forced to, we’re not allowed to touch them. This is the rules!”

The curly-haired man said softly, “Boss, she’s the cook from the [Natural Storm] program group. That night, I went to the program group’s camp with Kohl to figure out the route and brought back a few bowls of soup. She made the soup. It seems like she’s lost. Why don’t we keep her with us? We can bring her along when we leave the forest and then drop her wherever we want to. What do you think?”

There were all sorts of people within the program group’s camp as well as many locals. It was rather chaotic. The bread and canned thick soup that Li Murou made was stolen by the poachers who pretended to be locals that night.

Thinking of the delicious thick soup, the leader’s appetite had been awakened. He had people bring Li Murou back to camp.

After she woke up, she found out that she was in the enemy’s camp. She looked at these people in fear. “You…what are you guys doing? I’m a Chinese celebrity. What do you guys want from me?”

The poacher with curly-hair brought her to the bonfire and then tossed two bloody pheasants. Li Murou was splashed in blood. She screamed out loud in fear, “You guys are crazy! I’m Chinese! You guys want to do something to me? The Chinese embassy won’t let you guys go! You—”The men didn’t seem to like talking. She was ignored. The curly-haired man gave her a slap and then kicked her. In a rude tone, “Quickly cook. If you keep on spewing nonsense, I’ll behead you.”

She was unable to withstand the kick on her head. She fell back and her head hit the rock, feeling dizzy.

She then started to observe the busy men around camp.

Not far from her, she saw dozens of thick and long tusks. Each elephant had two tusks so it seemed like they took around…six elephants’ worth of tusks?

Li Murou wanted to continue to look around when the man kicked her again. He held the gun and pointed it at her, warning, “Go and cook for us. Once we’re done with our things, we’ll take you out of the forest. You can return to China. We won’t kill you.”

The locals here didn’t dare to casually kill Chinese people. They didn’t want to bring trouble upon themselves.

Li Murou knew that she shouldn’t provoke these people so she got up and acted obedient.

They made their motive clear. She just needed to cook for them and nothing would happen.

[Poop-like Food] punishment for three hours already passed. She could make delicious food once again. Lin Yueqi had been crushed by the elephants so she didn’t believe a dead person could produce intimacy points with Lu Ting.
