As Lucas engaged with others helping them clear the Orcs who climbed up on the walls.

Near the huge gates, a group used thick hard logs of trees and bound the bunch of trees into a thick bundle.

8 Orcs held it over their shoulders and ran towards the gates to ram it and break through the pass.

On the other side of the gates. Various human warriors tried to support the gate, preventing it from breaking down.

They needed to last for the troops at the top of the walls to clear the enemies and send the support quickly.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Their bodies were hit by a jolt of vibration as the impact of the hit passed through the gates and entered their bodies as they tried to support the gates and keep them from falling.

Pfttt!

They spurted blood as they felt the heavy impact due to the ramming of the Orcs.

After clearing that Orc from the top, Xanth gave the command to move down.

Lucas standing on the top of the walls breathing heavily while staring at the brute Orc banging the door with the woods.

With a rough breath, he muttered"Why are you all not firing arrows to kill them?"

Chris heard Lucas's words and muttered "This is because our arrows aren't able to deal damage to them."

"We don't even have good archers nor are there any proper bows and arrows. The arrows we have are just made of ordinary materials."

"If we use them, they will just feel ticklish and will mock us." Chris smiled with a bitter expression.

"By the way, how did these Orcs climb up the walls? There aren't even seized ladders or anything." Lucas asked curiously.

"The Orc had already started their movements at night. At early dawn when the security was low, they climbed with their bare hands."

"The walls are neither too long nor are they made of resilient material. Using the gaps in the walls, they climbed all the way."

"They sneaked in quietly and tried to take us down but they were caught before that which led to the current situation," Chris explained.

"Let's go down."

"Open the gates, we will move out and rip those bastards at once," Xanth shouted with a loud voice.

"I think I can deal greater damage to them," Lucas said.

The soldiers who were preparing themselves were stunned on hearing his words.

"I don't know if it is a joke or not but if you try to do something risky, there is no need for it." Xanth, who heard Lucas's voice, ran toward him and warned him.

Lucas raised his war axe which started to emit crackling noises.

"Can you see this axe?" Lucas shouted.

"This axe and armor were bestowed on me by one and only Princess of the Kingdom. The Royal Insignia inscribed on it is the proof."

"If I ran away or didn't step up even after such blessing, it would be an insult to the Kingdom and Princess. I will not dishonor her name and prove myself a coward."

"From this very moment, I will prove my worth of wearing this armor." Lucas roared at the top of his long.

As soon as his words resounded, lightning enveloped him.

Even the golden eyes started to sparkle with bluish lightning bolts.

Lucas raised his helmet and gulped down a mana recovery potion and took out another one and held it on his lips after all this attack may squeeze him dry.

The lightning became fiercer and large bolts of lightning emerged from him like a snake wanting to engulf everything.

The Lightning collided with brick ground and walls forming a crack.

Chris and other soldiers near Lucas hurriedly backed away seeing the sudden frightening burst of power.

The runes on the armor and axe started to glow emitting a bluish aura making Lucas look like a god of lightning.

"I may temporarily pass out after the attack, so please protect me."

Lucas's words snapped them out of their thoughts as they nodded their heads and hurriedly moved down.

Lucas looked down at the group

of Orcs who were startled by such a scene and looked up to find a dense aura of lightning condensing on the wall.

Not good.

"Step back!"

One of the Orcs screamed as they felt intense danger and they started to run back.

Lucas stared at the huge dark clouds drawing over his head covering the sun.

"So, this is the might of this armor. If not for the level restriction to 5-Star, it would be a legendary grade treasure." Lucas smiled as he tried to contain the pain coarsening through his body due to the taking a heavy toll on his body.

For him, it was a big thing to be able to use it.

"Haaaaaa!" Lucas roared and jumped from the walls and shot straight up to the sky.

The commander narrowed his eyes, staring at Lucas with awe and respect.

"The future of our Kingdom is bright."

He was stuck at 5-Star and wasn't able to advance throughout his life. He had seen countless stars shining and blurring due to the time.

He had met with many students of Horizon but all of them were proud and looked at those who weren't trained at Horizon as ants.

Even the commoners who were oppressed by nobles tried to show off in front of them and flaunt their pride.

He had seen countless studies passing through these pass in his 20 years of service and only a handful of them were true warriors and they wouldn't let their egos get into their head.

And now he was seeing the brightest star among them who rushed out like a maniac to help them. If anyone else was there, he might have already left the place and moved toward the central pass.

"I hope you achieve great feats in the future, boy." He muttered softly and finally decided to make a move.

Rumble...Rumble...Rumble…

The sky started to rumble and a huge bolt of lightning fell on Lucas who shot up in the sky.

"Amen!"

"May god bless me. I don't want to die early." Lucas muttered inwardly.

Lucas's body was hit by the lightning which started to condense on the axe ready to explode.

"Fire in the hole!" Lucas screamed, raising his axe and slashing down at the group of Orcs who were fleeing away as he descended.

A huge bluish bolt of lightning joined the heaven and earth before the onslaught of the explosion.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
