A huge commotion was going on in the bazaar streets on the outskirts of the Rong Imperial City. Even from a few dozen kilometers, one could see a huge black smoke escaping into the skies.

People were running in a mad, helter-skelter fashion trying their best to not be anywhere near the once tall and majestic building of the Eternal Zephyr Merchant Guild...at least what remained of it.

There wasn't a tall building anymore but a huge pile of rubbles under which many elders and guards of the guild were already crushed to death and their bodies lay lifeless under the huge rubbles. While many lowly employees had already escaped at the first sign of trouble.

What scared the people the most was the jet black flames that were blazing wildly across the whole compound and the two dreadful beasts that kept circling the area, one on the ground and the other from the skies, destroying everything and whatever they see in their path.

Even the ones who faintly recognized Piggy as a Flame Hog found it bewildering seeing those strange flames it was releasing. They never even heard about a Flame Hog releasing jet-black flames nor have they seen any flames like that.

The jet black flames were releasing a dreadful and ominous aura that scared away even the adventurous and ballsy bystanders. They couldn't even bear to stand a few dozen meters away from such an eerie and frightening kind of fire.

They did not doubt that those who were burned to death from those spine-chilling flames didn't die a simple death. They felt that they were witnessing too many things today that questioned their common sense.

Nor did anyone understand how two terrifying ethereal beasts even made their way till here since there would be borders where certain cultivators were appointed and defense formations to make sure they never cross into the city. Even then, the ethereal beasts rarely do venture outside their habitat.

But the fact that shocked these people was that two people were riding on top of the scary and huge flying ethereal beast as if they were using it as its mount.

Those who saw it were flabbergasted as they never even in their dreams had any ideas of trying to fly atop such a frightening beast. However, when their eyes got a closer look at the figure standing proudly atop the huge ethereal beast, their jaws went agape.

"Hey, isn't that Alchemist Azrael?" A bystander who had gotten pretty far from the site of destruction asked another bystander near him.

"Yes, even that Rank 4 badge on his cloak and the strange disguise...it has to be him. But who's that pink-haired girl near him?"

"Do I look like I have any idea? Is it because I don't know or is there a grudge between Alchemist Azrael and the Eternal Zephyr Merchant Guild? Cause it seems like he's very pissed off. I wonder what they did to piss off such a big shot."

"Do you think the Eternal Zephyr Merchant Guild is a joke? They are backed up by the Gale Empire. Who knows how they are going to react to this...this is like a huge slap on their face. Alchemist Azrael might be in trouble."

"Hmph, do you think Alchemist Azrael is a joke too? Look at the way he has tamed those two terrifying beasts. I am sure the flying ethereal beast is the Phantom Mist Roc that was rumored to stay in the deepest part of the Dark Forest. It's not easy to go against a legendary Heaven Ethereal Realm cultivator especially when he is the only alchemist who can concoct Supreme Tier Pills. I am sure the Xeton Empire might step in for him in case things take a bad turn."

Meanwhile atop Misty, Damien was holding Valentina against his body as he orchestrated from above the destruction of the whole building in his sight that once stood proudly like a tall and sturdy tree.

He already plundered their treasury which had over 10,000 Blue Spirit Stones! He didn't forget to snatch many precious herbs and even the Sky Ethereal Grade sword - Willbreaker.

He realized that some of these herbs would be useful for Valentina's breakthrough while others could be used for concocting many useful pills.

He didn't feel bad at all for plundering their treasury as it is only natural they should compensate him for the trouble they had caused.

He had also subtly absorbed the soul essences of both Elder Faust and Mary Di whose soul cultivation's were at the Early Soul Transformation Stage. But didn't care to absorb from others as they were too weak to benefit him or had already died.

'The Flame Hog is truly unstoppable.' Damien was amazed at how terrifying Piggy was when it rammed through the building with its huge body while burning everything on its path.

He also noticed that the sadist guard he had met the first time he awakened in this world already died a painful death from Piggy's dreadful flames.

Damien didn't mind he didn't get to kill him personally as he did bestow him with a painful death as he promised.

He decided to end his business here and return seeing that he had fulfilled what he had set out to do. He even ordered Piggy to fall back but didn't care about the undead Spirit Ethereal Realm beasts.

Valentina also had a gratified expression on her face seeing the destruction and felt awed yet again by what her Big Brother Damien can do. She felt satiated seeing the destruction of the guild in front of her and felt as if her bloodthirst was quenched with her Big Brother's help.

However, suddenly through Misty, Damien sensed an aura zooming towards the place where he was. He turned around and saw even the space being distorted from a distance!

All Damien could see was a huge gust of wind approaching fast in his direction. But as it got closer, through Misty he sensed that inside the huge gust was a man and more powerful than Misty!

Within just a second, the figure stood in the air before Damien as a light gust of wind passed over Damien's body.

'A Heaven Ethereal Realm cultivator!' Damien inwardly screamed.

Gray, tailbone length hair hung over a chiseled and charming face that gave off the look of a man in his forties. His bird-like brown eyes with sparse eyebrows would make one feel as if they were being targeted by a predator from above.

Damien felt a hazy and cloudy aura surrounding the man in front of him as if he was one with the wind.

The man didn't say anything and simply looked behind as he waved his hands. A huge torrent of wind escaped from his hands as it instantly passed over the entire compound, completely extinguishing the blazing jet black fire all over the place and tore apart every single undead Spirit Ethereal Realm beasts to shreds!

Damien was shocked to see such a display of power. He even saw the air being shredded as the powerful torrent of wind passed through the entire area where the building once stood.

The man slowly turned around and said in a dry tone, "Alchemist Azrael, I suppose there is a good reason for the scene of destruction and devastation of our Gale Empire's most prominent guild. The branch you destroyed was something that stood the test of time for more than 500 years. You do realize that our Gale Empire won't take this lightly no matter your reputation."

Damien could feel the hidden threat behind his words which practically said that they won't be afraid to see to it that they are properly compensated for their loss.

However he didn't show any signs of weakness and maintaining his proud stance, he asked in a low growl, "Who are you?"

"I am Luther Gale, but most people know me by the title my empire had bestowed upon me...Typhoon Lord." He said as he maintained his gaze at Damien.

'Oh fuck...didn't I kill this dude's grandson or someone. Maybe he is here to investigate his death.' Damien remembered the name as even the Ancestor had warned him about him.

"And what do you think I should have done when your 'prestigious' guild tried to sell off my precious personal disciple?" Damien asked in a cynical tone.
