Qin Hua bolted towards the tall building as soon as she could move and directly jumped into the fray in the midst of the chaotic goblin army. Her rough landing knocked out dozens of goblins like bowling pins.
She did not hesitate, she did not think. Only one goal was in her mind and that was slaughtering the disgusting creatures surrounding her.
She sunk her canines into one of the goblins, throwing it towards the several dozen coming towards her. Blood sprayed everywhere and the goblins screeched louder.
She positioned herself near the ground floor entrance of the building, instantly grabbing the attention of half of the goblins. However, unlike the team standing on the terrace, she didn't have others to block and share the load.
Six to eight goblins lunged at her from the front and the back at the same time. Even some of them who had already started climbing up, jumped back to the ground floor to pile up on the big black dog.
ROARRRR!
Qin Hua howled. She was not in the least overwhelmed by these numbers. Her big black body danced around, ripping and mauling everything in her vicinity to shreds.
The goblins stabbed her with their daggers and sickles, and she chomped down on their scrawny hands and took out two to three at the same time.
Their attacks hurt, blood dripping from the injuries on her body, but she gave thrice as good as she got, returning their attacks and her pain manifold.
As if this wasn't enough, the system in her brain was also going crazy and the same notifications repeatedly kept chiming in her head.

[SHUT THE FUCK UP!]
Qin Hua roared, her loud majestic howl sending tremors across the goblin horde that surrounded her. What was the point of evolving a million times when she was facing a life and death battle right now?
On the other hand, would everything be much easier if I evolved first? She slightly faltered, though the goblins ganging up on her immediately pulled her attention back to them.
Qin Hua couldn't afford to waste even one second thinking about these things now. The evolution had to wait.

[Damn it.] Qin Hua gnashed her teeth. This was getting really annoying and she was taking out all the anger on the goblins around her without holding back.
[Mana core! Mana core! Mana core! Let me check if this damned mana core is even useful!!!] She roared loudly.
[Chaos ball]
[Chaos ball]
[Chaos ball]
One after the other three black balls of swirling energy materialized in front of her and shot forward towards the mass of goblins.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The three chaos balls instantly cleared a radius around the dog, littered with strewn apart goblin body parts. Both the nearby goblins and Qin Hua herself froze for a second, taken aback by this sudden development.
[So powerful!] Qin Hua panted, her eyes widened both in shock and delight.
Not only was the casting of the spell faster, but it was also a lot less draining and she felt as if she could keep sending out a few more of these.
Her clone had also already reached the top of the building, once again materializing next to Lu Chen and the others.
They were covered with injuries and gasping for breath, but they were holding on quite well. They had the method down and were systematically culling down the numbers.
Observing both these things, Qin Hua couldn't help but hesitate. Should I just evolve first?
Moreover, the first evolution hadn't taken a lot of time. The evolution itself was instantaneous though the effects of the evolution had taken some time to show up.
And if the second evolution boosted her powers even as much as the mana core did, then it would all be worth it and she might just be able to take care of this horde of goblins in seconds.
[Chaos ball]
[Chaos ball]
[Chaos ball]
Qin Hua shot out another three black orbs mulling over her options in her mind.
However, suddenly a strong presence entered her senses and she turned around to see a giant goblin starting to step out of the stadium.
She could feel a monstrous overpowering aura seeping out from the goblin just like back when she had faced the boas. Even the hair on her back stood up straight.
[What the hell is that now?] Qin Hua gnashed her teeth and ripped a few of the goblins in front of her, absorbing their mana cores as she did so.
Facing against this massive army of goblins in itself was proving to be barely possible, but now there was a leader to this fucking army?

Qin Hua sighed. She gave up. She was truly worried for her own survival and her friends but at this rate, their chance of success looked bleak.
Perhaps the system prompt was really giving her the best option for survival.
[You win! It looks like I need to choose one and evolve after all!]
She immediately leaped into a nearby shadow and bolted away from the tall building as fast as she could.
She then eyed the bunch of notifications that were being repeatedly flashed in front of her.
