Kiuk Kiuk Kiuk
Kiuk Koey kijuk
Two frost orcs were busy talking to each other when a twig snapped near them. They quickly turned around to spot a black wolf with purple eyes running away.
Kiuk Kiuk Kiuk!
The two orcs looked at each other and immediately started chasing the wolf, running after the beast. The beast did not look too strong and its speed also wasn't that great.
Besides, they were able to easily keep up with it. So without any thought or concern, the two orcs chased the beast.
However, after a few seconds, they realized that something was wrong. No matter how much they chased the beast, they seemed to be not getting any closer to it.
At the same time, it was very close. So they didn't want to let their prey escape. They ran behind the wolf with their big bulky bodies making huge impressions on the snow covered ground.
This running and chasing continued for another couple seconds and suddenly another black wolf appeared.
The orcs lifted the axe in their hands excitedly at the thought of roasting both the beasts side by side, but unfortunately for them, the second wolf wasn't as simple.
Growl! Qin Hua sprang forward with black wisps of energy and lightning swirling around her paws.
She wanted to find out about their strength and capabilities more accurately so she had made this plan to lure these two away.
Just as they were fighting, Alex, Guan Ye and Lu Chen also revealed themselves and everyone started attacking the orcs.
The two frost orcs were utterly shocked. They were far away from their camp as well and they got trapped unknowingly.
KIUKK KIUKKK KIUKKK!
The orcs started shouting loudly.
[Not good! Woof!] Qin Hua growled loudly, hiding their shouts in her roar and a volley of attacks immediately landed on the two orcs.
They swung their axes around wildly trying to fight back but Qin Hua's attack power alone was too much for them to handle and the two quickly fell.
[Woof! This is not bad!] Qin Hua shook her head. Standing next to her, Lu Chen said the exact same thing. "This is not bad."
"Yes, it looks like we just need to keep luring them out?" Guan Ye doubtfully added.
"Eh? Do you guys really think that we can just keep doing this? Won't they get doubtful if they notice their group members missing?" Alex frowned.
"Hmm… that is indeed true but this is a huge forest. They might not notice their absence immediately. And this time, maybe we can draw in bigger groups."
Lu Chen looked at Qin Hua who bobbed her head up and down, agreeing with what he said.
"Little white and Guan Ye bring the next group over. Let's attack together and finish this successfully."
Everyone nodded and prepared for the next fight. Once again Qin Hua's clone dashed ahead to lure some frost orcs.
To her surprise, as soon as they saw her, they readily chased after her without any restraint. She couldn't help but wonder if they were particularly fond of wolf meat to behave in this manner.
The clone smoothly brought the two orcs farther away from the camp and Qin Hua, Alex, Lu Chen, and Guan Ye jumped the bulky monsters and finished them off just like before.
This continued on for a while and slowly a heap of blue frost orc bodies began to pile up. "This seems almost too easy…" Lu Chen muttered.
"Why? Isn't that a good thing?" Alex checked out the spear that the last orc was carrying. All their equipments were better than what they were doing.
Hearing the two of them talk, Qin Hua also had a bad premonition. From the footprints they had first seen, it definitely seemed like the orcs had found out about their presence.
After that, when Lu Chen and herself had looked at their camp from a distance, they had also seen several orcs gathered together in a big group.
Putting two and two together, a small doubt arose in her heart and she decided to make sure that it wasn't true.
Woof! Woof! She barked and then as her clone prepared to lure in the next batch, she started running back to the entrance of the portal where the others were supposed to wait for them.
Qin Hua gritted her canines as she silently hoped that she wouldn't see what she was expecting.
[Woof! I am thinking too much! Even if those orcs had found them somehow, they should have escaped out of the portal right?]
[Woof! Yes. They were standing right next to the portal. They should have run out for sure. I am worrying unnecessarily.]
She let out a long sigh and calmed herself down but just as she approached the entrance of the frozen forest, her heart sank.
Standing in front of her, hiding her vision of the portal completely was a group of more than thirty tall and bulky orcs all carrying some sort of heavy jagged weapon in their hands.
From where she was standing, she couldn't tell at all if any of the others had managed to escape or not or what had happened to them. All she could see was the muscular backs of the orcs.
Qin Hua snapped out of her trance and immediately gave out the orders. It looks like they were done with playing hide and seek.
This time there was no other way except to face the whole group together. It was going to be a long, difficult and painful battle. They simply did not have a choice.
[Bring everyone back here! NOW!]
Qin Hua's clone stopped moving and Coco as well became alert. The two of them all of a sudden began running back which startled Alex, Guan Ye, and Lu Chen.
"Fuck! Is something wrong?" Alex shouted.
Lu Chen had been worried ever since he saw Qin Hua run the other way and now his worries were only confirmed. "Be prepared to go all out and fight!"
