Two and a half weeks later…
Dorian looked over the empty meeting room with a smile, a deep-seated exhaustion behind his eyes finally seeing relief.
The room had a large, black and white marble table set in the center of the room, with several plush black chairs situated all around it, in a large circle. The walls were stained grey and covered in tapestries and paintings. A pair of chandeliers hung overhead, dousing the room in warm, yellow light.
As he looked over the meeting room, he couldn't help but clench his fists.
"It feels like a dream, almost." He spoke aloud, the words flowing from his mouth with a fierce sense of victory.
"We did it."
His eyes flashed as a swarm of memories flashed in front of him.
After Dorian managed to convince both the Shade King and the Family General Balbinus to agree to talk, everything moved quickly from there.
The Shades stopped their attack, hunt, and investigation completely when it came to Dorian and Helena. All of their forces pulled back, including the forces of the Church of Light.
Coincidentally, in that time Dorian actually came across Excelsior Gamin again.
He had been walking through the city after the Shade King had already sent off orders dispersing everyone, checking on the damage and preparing to make a brief exit. Helena was back in her new room, under the protection of Family General Balbinus, resting peacefully. The Moria Liberation Force was currently recuperating in the same Inn.
It had only been a few hours since the altercation with the Shade King.
Cracktyl had been placed under a sort of martial law as order was restored. The various fires had been put out, large tracts of wreckage and destroyed rubble removed. Several workers could be seen already focused on repairing the damage to the city streets and local shops.
As a result of the martial law, few people were on the streets, most civilians and experts alike hiding inside in case the battle that had shaken the city should resume. This made travel through the city quite easy. Dorian had been cleared ahead of time, letting him slip through unmolested by the various guards that were on patrol. The city was incredibly on edge, despite the battle already ending.
The news about Moria being cleansed also had yet to come out.
After traveling all the way to the city wall, Dorian didn't run into any issues there with the guards either. They let him out without question.
He currently had a very large amount of Growth Energy and a large number of unused Bloodlines he wanted to Evolve, something he couldn't feasibly do in the city. He was still a bit tired, mentally and physically, but he knew it was very important that he took this opportunity to enhance his strength.
Just as he was exiting Cracktyl, however… he came upon the bedraggled figure of Excelsior Gamin.
Excelsior Gamin looked like he had taken a brutal beating, his eyes bloodshot and his body covered in bruises, blood, and dirt. The Shade cut a sorry sight, slowly walking towards the city while wheezing.
When Dorian saw that, his heart went out for the Excelsior and a feeling of shock swept over him. Excelsior Gamin had an excessively powerful physical body. For him to have encountered an enemy that could injure him to such an extent… it must've been a fierce battle for him indeed.
'That damned Balbinus… There was no reason to hurt such a kind Shade.' He frowned fiercely. He would've never harmed Gamin and felt rather confident he could've used words to resolve the situation. Well, words and a bit of cheating Fate with his soul.
He began to walk towards the Shade, yelling out loud to check on him.
"Excelsior Gamin! Excelsior, are you alright?!"
The Shade had tested him, it was true, but had still only ever been kind to him.
When the Excelsior saw Dorian, the Shade's face paled and his eyes widened.
"W-w-w-wha-, no!"
Without waiting for any type of response, the high ranking Church of Light official booked it, his body vanishing with the wind as he shot off into the distance.
His abrupt retreat left Dorian with his jaw hanging open, an honest expression of confusion covering his face.
"H-huh?" He stuttered in shock.
Shortly after, upon realizing that he wasn't going to find out what was up with Excelsior Gamin, Dorian made his way away from the city. He mentally rebuked Family General Balbinus even more, his opinion of the Vampire lowering.
He quickly left the beaten trail, fleeing into a nearby forest. Once he traveled several miles away from the city, he transformed into his Sun Eagle form, shooting up into the air.
He then flew more than 50 miles away, eventually finding a secluded nook in the midst of a large forested area, a place where no intelligent being lived near.
The small clearing was surrounded by trees, towering oaks that shot up towards the heavens. The peaceful sounds of a sleepy forest spread out around Dorian, the morning light just now waking up its inhabitants.
Dorian landed in the middle of the clearing, on a small patch of grass. He transformed back into his Shade form as he hit the ground, stretching out his magical, form-fitting garments as they reappeared on his body.
He glanced to the left and right, his eyes scanning the surroundings. He could sense a few dozen Earth Class lizards and birds, and in the distance a type of Sky Class bear, but nothing else of note.
"Alright." He nodded and then sat down, crossing his legs as he focused.
'Let's see…' He took a deep breath, mentally looking over the huge number of Bloodlines and huge amount of Growth Energy in his control. He had gained so much in such a short period of time, it wasn't a joke to say he'd virtually tripled in strength as of a few weeks ago.
'So many millions of Growth Points… Let's not hesitate any further.' With that thought in mind…
Dorian began to pick out specific Bloodlines and Evolve them.
"…"
WHOOSH
"Woah, that's a cool form! My arms are blue!"
"…"
WHOOSH
"A Demon can have spikes THERE?! But why?!"
"…"
WHOOSH
"I'm a Biiiiiiird Demon! Fear meeee! Squawk!"
"…"
WHOOSH
"I'm a worm..."
*wiggle, wiggle*
"…"
Several hours passed.
Bloodline after Bloodline, Dorian brought each one to maturity, rapidly growing form after form. The time he needed for his soul to adapt had dropped to easily manageable levels, meaning he could knock out several Bloodlines in quick succession. The days of waiting hours and hours were long gone.
Finally, after many hours of work, Dorian had finished growing a large number of Bloodlines he was able to afford. He actually ended up having too many Bloodlines to fully grow, the variety of choices he held rather excessive.
As a result, he had Ausra estimate which ones were useful and which ones weren't. He then grew all the ones Ausra recommended, ones that had potential to help him Evolve by combination.
.
'Blue Armed Demon Bloodline fully grown!'
'Greater Throne Demon Bloodline fully grown!'
'Grey Mantor Bloodline fully grown!'
'Gorringer Tiger Demon Bloodline fully grown!'
'Iron Wasp Demon Bloodline fully grown!'
'Pale-faced Lion Bloodline fully grown!'
'White Illusion Demon Bloodline fully grown!'
'White Demon Worm Bloodline fully grown!'
'Yellow Beak Demon Bloodline fully grown!'
.
He grew a grand total of 9 individual Lord Class Bloodlines, including the Peak Lord Class Grey Mantor Bloodline. He used an excessively large amount of Growth Energy, using up roughly 80% of his Growth Points.
Each form was unique and had its own special aspects. Many of them had form specific Abilities and active Abilities, while a few had shared passive Abilities.
The Yellow Beak Demon had the Aerial Eye Ability, a passive Ability that allowed a being to focus in on things at a great distance. The Iron Wasp Demon had the Hard Shell Ability, a passive power that enhanced the physical defense of a being. His new White Illusion Demon form granted him the passive Fogless Mind Ability, a power that gave him a huge amount of resistance to illusions and things of that nature.
The final notable passive Ability came from the Greater Throne Demon Bloodline, an Ability called Giant Life. The Ability allowed him to draw directly on latent energy in his surroundings to regenerate from injuries, boosting his recovery capabilities to even greater heights. He was gradually coming closer and closer to an unkillable machine of destruction.
With all the Abilities Dorian had gained, it would not be remiss to claim that his Balance Demon form with a Lord Class Soul Spell Matrix was on par, just through Abilities and strength alone, with many King Class experts.
When you tossed in his powerful soul and access to tons of Laws including the Law of Original Sin, Dorian could be considered a King Class powerhouse that could face off against Middle King Class enemies and come out victorious, and at least hold his own against Late King Class foes.
All of this while still in Lord Class… He fit the very description of an Anomaly.
However, Dorian wasn't satisfied with that.
As he looked over all of his Bloodlines, he sent Ausra a single command.
'Ausra… check all the Bloodlines and begin running simulations,' His eyes flashed as he gave the order,
'Show me what I can Evolve into, but only forms with unique Abilities or strength that exceeds my Balance Demon form.' He couldn't afford to waste anything on useless forms.
'Acknowledged.' Ausra's voice was cool in his head as she replied as she instantly began running simulations.
'Calculating… calculating…'
Several moments passed.
'Finished! Five Bloodlines detected! Bloodline abnormalities detected for all five Evolutions!'
"Huh?" Before Ausra could show him the results, he narrowed his eyes at her response.
"Bloodline abnormalities?" He queried. This was something he'd never heard before. His strongest form, his Balance Demon form, was a Late Lord Class being with a natural Energy Level of 84,331, a very high number in its own right, and it hadn't had anything like this.
For something like this to be occurring… Dorian could only think of one possibility.
'They must be King Class Evolutions!' A Bloodline that could grow into King Class power naturally was bound to be rare and powerful. Even more so, all the Bloodlines Dorian was coming into were excessively rare and powerful, stronger than normal King or Lord Class Bloodlines.
'Some of the potential Bloodlines are extremely powerful or unusual and require special circumstances to fully Evolve.' Ausra coolly replied.
As Dorian heard this, he clenched his fists, excitement filling him.
"Alright! List all five!"
'Acknowledged'
After a moment, a list of Bloodlines and descriptions appeared, a list that filled Dorian with glee.

Empyrean Vampires are a previously unknown species that arose as a result of a mutation of the Ancestral Vampire line, bearing a very similar appearance to regular Vampires, with a lean physique, white hair, and dark red eyes. The strongest possible form a Vampire can grow into, Empyrean Vampires have precise control over the world around them, able to manipulate space with their will, forming invisible barriers or attacking with invisible blows. They are protected by a powerful layer of black energy, shielding them from injury.
Empyrean Vampires are naturally graceful and can transform into a discreet bat form, can form contracts with lesser Vampires, have enhanced vision, and enhanced regeneration. They are the natural rulers of the Vampire Race.

Maximum Energy Level: 488,092
Ability: Mighty Strength, Rippling Claws, Apocalyptic Gaze, Demonic Eyes, Strong Constant Regeneration, Weakened Law Sensitivity
Special Bloodline Evolution Requirement - Bones, essence, or a remnant Soul Spell Matrix of a powerful King Class Demonic-Aspected being such that a coherent energy structure can be absorbed and used as a catalyst to fully form this Bloodline.
Apocalypse Demons are known as the Harbingers of Destruction. These Demons stand a full 20 meters tall and are extremely powerful, able to obliterate almost anything in their path. They have red skin and sharp, metallic claws that can rend through metal like flesh, with large black horns on their head. A single glance from these beings can unleash a hellish beam of destruction that draws upon the Law of Death.
This species was wiped out in the First Demon War, largely due to their large size slowing them down and leaving them vulnerable to attack. While they are extremely powerful, their physical defense is lacking and Apocalypse Demons have difficulty sensing the Laws of the Universe.

They possess the Ability to unleash a set of burning red Frenzy Flames, a type of Dragonfire that can directly damage the soul of a being. They also possess the Ability to enter an 'Enhanced Frenzy State' where their perception of time is greatly increased, granting them the ability to react to things and plan at an accelerated rate.
Frenzy Dragons are a newly created species.

Cloud Dragon - King Class (Middle)
Maximum Energy Level: 901,260
Ability: Chaotic Shielding, Spatial Flight, Cloud Flames, Aerial Eye, Steady Wings, Strong Constant Regeneration
Special Bloodline Evolution Requirement - Bones, essence, or a remnant Soul Spell Matrix of a powerful King Class Dragon-Aspected being such that a coherent energy structure can be absorbed and used as a catalyst to fully form this Bloodline.
Cloud Dragons are huge creatures that used to dwell within the regions of Chaotic Space, their unique Chaotic Shielding Ability allowing them to dodge the multitudes of danger associated with those regions. Standing more than 40 meters tall, these behemoths contain a virtual mountain of power within them. They are covered in large white scales, with a set of huge wings and long limbs.
However, their large size makes their movements very unwieldy and tight maneuvering difficult. They possess powerful defenses but struggle with direct attacks and are known to be passive creatures. This species is exceptionally rare to see as they rarely leave Chaotic Space.

Maximum Energy Level: 1,498,884
Ability: Fallen Aura, Destructive Touch, Gideon Inception, Steady Flight, Demonic Eyes, Strong Constant Regeneration
Special Bloodline Evolution Requirement - Bones, essence, or a remnant Soul Spell Matrix of a powerful King Class Angelic/Divine/Heavenly-Aspected being such that a coherent energy structure can be absorbed and used as a catalyst to fully form this Bloodline.

Legend has it that they were cast out from the Heavens, fallen beings that possess incredible power, able to corrupt reality around them, destroying things with a simple touch. When mortally wounded, their Gideon Inception Ability activates, allowing them to completely heal themselves like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.
The species of Wanhope Angels are said to have existed towards the inception of the 30,000 Worlds, in the tumultuous times when reality itself had just formed. They are extinct and have not been seen in tens of thousands of years, the exact causes behind their extinction unknown.
The information listed for this species is not 100% confirmed.

A huge smile appeared on his face as he looked over the list.
'Yes! Finally! I can Evolve into a King Class form!'
