"Urp… This meat is so tough..." Ceilie complained as she bit into the overly cooked meat. Her meals every day had consisted of wild vegetables and monster meat. Unfortunately, her cooking skills had not grown. Day after day, she had been fighting monsters and improving. "Tomorrow, I will head east and finish up this final level before finding a secluded place to evolve. It's weird this cave has been my home for the past few months, and although it is just a cave, I do feel a little sad about leaving it."

Ceilie had always been one to adapt easily to her surroundings. Much more so now that she had become a beastkin. Ceilie looked out at the entrance of her cave at the darkening sky and yawned. "It has been a tiring day… I guess I will tend to my wounds and go to sleep."

Ceilie covered the entrance of her cave with the makeshift camouflage doors. They were made using vines, thick branches, and large leaves to create the door, to keep the wind out. Tied to them were large bushes to cover the rest of the entrance and make it hard to find the cave. Only when she secured the door to a rock inside the cave did she strip down and begin smearing a special medicine she made using herbs from the forest on her deep wounds. This medicine would make it so that the pain and inflammation would be reduced and keep them from getting infected as they healed. This was how it should work. But every time she used this stuff and fell asleep, she would wake up to find all her wounds would be fully healed.

After dressing her wounds, Ceilie dressed lightly and laid down on her makeshift bed. As soon as her eyes closed, Ceilie fell asleep almost instantly. In the dark corner of the cave where light could not reach, a slender black figure walked out of the shadows. Each step this figure took was light and made no sound. It was as if the figure was a ghost.

But as the light revealed the figure's appearance, if Ceilie was awake, she would be stunned to see a cute cat girl that looked no more than eighteen years old standing there with a sweet smile on her face. This cute cat girl crouched down next to Ceilie and waved her hand, removing Ceilie's clothes. "Tsk. Tsk. My dear Ceilie needs to take care of her body more. If not for me, you would end up with scars all over your beautiful skin."

The cute cat girl waved her hand, causing a green light to flow out of it and wrap around Ceilie. The wounds on her body slowly began to close up at a speed visible to the eye. In a matter of seconds, each of the wounds, even the deep cashes on Ceilie's arm, had closed up completely as if they were never there in the first place.

"Now, this is much better. Such smooth, soft skin I can not let my dear Ceilie's skin become tainted." The cute cat girl traced her finger across Ceielie's skin. She then waved her hand, putting Ceielie's clothes back on her. But instead of leaving, the cute cat girl laid down next to Ceilie and snuggled up next to her. Her face was centimeters away from Ceiles and growing closer by the second until the cute cat girl's nose touched Ceilie's! "Hehe… my dear Ceilie..."

The cute cat girl pushed her lips against Ceilies giving Ceilie a light peck before parting. Ceilie, who was sound asleep after such an exhausting day, had no idea she was currently being taken advantage of. She only felt something warm next to her and subconsciously reached out to it in her sleep, pulling it closer to her. As for the cute cat girl who was being embraced smiled and closed her eyes as she snuggled into Ceilie's chest.

Night passed and the sounds of morning birds filled the area as the sun began to peek out from beyond the horizon. Ceilie opened her eyes slowly feeling groggy from just waking up. She sat up and looked at her arms and legs and smiled seeing how they were now fully healed. "That concoction sure works wonders." Ceilie said with a smile as she stretched her arms out in front of her. She then got up and prepared herself to finally leave this place.

"Nergal, you went to the mortal world again?" A young man in white robes asked. He had a single pink horn on his head and a pair of white wings on his back.

"What does it matter to you? It is not against the rules of the realm of the gods to go to the mortal world. What I do is my own business." Nergal sneered at the young man and went to walk away.

"Nergal you are my fiance so you should act like it. Do not think I do not know that you have fallen for some mortal. With a simple flick of my fingers I can squish that mortal like a bugg!" The young man said his words while smiling but there was a hint of killing intent in his eyes.

"Prince Smir, I do not care if you are royalty. If you try to threaten me in such a way I do not mind killing you. The engagement between our family means nothing to me since I did not agree to it. You must remember that your royal house can only stand where it is because my family protects you. So if you wish to threaten me make sure you understand the consequences that come with such actions." Nergal said coldly before walking away. Prince Smir stood there with his fist clenched tightly as he gritted his teeth. He could not retort what Nergal had said!

"Do you really think you can escape my grasp Nergal… This prince will not allow you to do so. Shadow." Prince Nergal yelled out. A black shadowy figure appeared next to him.

"Your command my liege?"

"Next time Nergal goes to the human world, follow her and kill the mortal she fell in love with."
