‘It’s already the last book.’

Five hours have passed since he arrived at Pavian’s room and there were only four white books left on the shelf.

‘Will a title like Conqueror appear here too?’

Reading every book in a library gives you the title of Conqueror.

What if he read all the books in Pavian’s room?

Will a title be given like from a library? Soo Hyuk returned to his desk with four books and focused on reading once again.

[Wisdom rises by 1.]

[Wisdom rises by 1.]

Every time he finished reading a book, his Wisdom increased.

And soon, Soo Hyuk completed the last chapter of the previous book.

[Wisdom rises by 1.]

[Wisdom rises by 1.]

Either there was no title, or he did not read all the books in the Poison Tower. The messages which appeared were only about the rising Wisdom.

Looking at the messages, Soo Hyuk got up, put the books back on the shelves and approached Pavian, who was working.

“…?”

Pavian, who was working, looked at Soo Hyuk with a puzzled expression as he approached.

Then glanced at the bookshelf and back to Soo Hyuk and said while looking at him.

“Did you read it all?”

“Yes, I would like to go now!”

Soo Hyuk bowed his head to Pavian to express his gratitude.

Of course, he didn’t go right away.

“Oh, wait a minute. I have something to ask”.

It was because Pavian wanted to have a conversation.

“Do you remember the chimeras who appeared in the Hard Rock’s underground channel some time ago?”

“Yeah.”

“At that time, was there a chimera that was a mix of an ogre and a troll?”

“An ogre and a troll?”

“Huh.”

At Pavian’s words, Soo Hyuk recalled the chimeras he had defeated in the Underground Channel.

The Chimera Ladle had a blizzard look.

However, the key combination is Ogre and Troll.

There was no such Chimera.

“No.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Hmm…”

Pavian frowned at Soo Hyuk’s answer.

“…Then I will go.”

“Oh, yes.”

Soo Hyuk came out of the room after saying goodbye to Pavian.

‘Did a chimera that was a mix of an ogre and a troll appear?’

He came out of the room and thought as he went down to the first floor.

Suddenly, the reason why he asked for a chimera that was a mix of ogres and trolls became obvious; because a chimera composed of ogres and trolls came out.

‘What does it look like?’

Soo Hyuk thought of the combination of an ogre and a troll.

He couldn’t even imagine it.

While thinking about the chimeras, Soo Hyuk, who came out of the Poison Tower, opened his friends window while heading towards the Fire Tower.

He confirmed the status of Yeon Jeung and whispered to him.

-Soo Hyuk: Yeon Jeung.

-Yeon Jeung: Yes.

-Soo Hyuk: I said we’ll visit that place in 2 weeks, right?

-Yeon Jeung: Yes. Why? Do you think it will take more time?

-Soo Hyuk: No, because the work is now over. I think I can go tomorrow.

-Yeon Jeung: Huh? Really? Really?

Despite it being a whisper, he felt intense emotions from Yeon Jeung.

-Soo Hyuk: Yes.

-Yeon Jeung: Then shall we go tomorrow?

-Soo Hyuk: Don’t you have a lot to do?

-Yeon Jeung: I was worried because we became the representative guild but nothing happened. I think it will be all over today.

-Soo Hyuk: Got it. Then when do we leave tomorrow?

-Yeon Jeung: I have something to prepare. Around 11 o’clock? What do you think?

-Soo Hyuk: That’s okay. Is there anything which I need to prepare?

-Yeon Jeung: No. You just need to come.

-Soo Hyuk: Got it. I will see you tomorrow.

-Yeon Jeung: Okay, but isn’t it time for the auction to end?

Soo Hyuk checked the time at his question.

-Soo Hyuk: Oh, it’s almost done. Only 3 hours are left.

The auction ends at 8 o’clock.

As Yeon Jeung said, the time for the auction to end was approaching.

-Yeon Jeung: How high has it risen?

-Soo Hyuk: Well? I haven’t checked. I will go check after the auction.

-Yeon Jeung: Hey, you are amazing. If I were you, I would have lived inside the auction house.

Soo Hyuk, who had arrived at the Fire Tower while talking, stopped his whispering with Yeong Jeung.

Are there any books inside Fire Tower?

Soo Hyuk went inside and headed towards Cordell’s room.

“Excuse me…”

Naturally, there was a wizard blocking his path, so Soo Hyuk took out Brinis’ token and showed it to him.

And he was guided to Cordell’s room by the wizard.

“Vice-Tower Lord, a guest has come.” The wizard shouted with a knock.

Creak!

After a while, the door opened and Cordell came out.

“Huh… Soo Hyuk!”

“Good Morning.”

Soo Hyuk greeted him with a smile at his surprised expression.

“Come in!”

Cordell guided Soo Hyuk into the room. Soo Hyuk followed his guidance and came inside, sat on the sofa, and thought.

‘No…’

Unfortunately, there wasn’t even a single book in the room.

‘Somewhere here….”

Cordell asked while sitting on the other side…

“Do you need anything?”

“Is there a place in the Fire Tower where books are stored?”

“Books?”

“Yeah!”

“I’ve heard rumours that you liked books… So it was right.”

Cordell nodded and said.

“There is a room with a collection of old books…..”

“Old books?”

“Would you like to go there now?”

“Yeah.”

‘If it was an old book then it would be something which he hadn’t read.’

Few of the books he read in the libraries were old ones.

He conquered numerous libraries but the old books were few, enough to count on his fingers.

If stored in a room, it would be just one or two, and they would certainly emit light.

Cordell got up from his seat and led him.

Soo Hyuk followed Cordell’s footsteps.

And after a while, Cordell stopped.

In front of him was a locked door.

Cordell unlocked the door and went inside.

Soo Hyuk also quickly followed him.

Upon entering, four bookshelves came into view.

They were full of books and, as Soo Hyuk predicted, all the books were lit up.

‘Huh?’

However, watching the books emitting lights, Soo Hyuk was confused.

‘Black color?’

Except for a few books, all others were shining in black.

If he wasn’t mistaken, then they were clearly shining black.

“I still have work to do, so I will go back.

Said Cordell.

“Ah, yes.”

When Soo Hyuk answered, Cordell bowed his head and left the room.

After he left, Soo Hyuk, who was left all alone in the room, approached the bookshelf.

Then he picked up a book that gave off a black glow and confirmed the title.

“….?”

A question mark appeared on his face after confirming the title.

‘What? These characters.’

There was a text which he saw for the first time.

‘The title could not be recognized.’

Soo Hyuk opened the book with frowned eyebrows.

[‘Elven Language’ is required.]

As soon as he opened the book, a message appeared.

Soo Hyuk looked at the message and then looked down at the book.

It seemed that he required the Elven language to read the book according to the message.

‘The books which I can’t read are shining black.’

Now he seemed to know what the black light meant.

Unlike the other colors, black did not mean a kind of quest.

Soo Hyuk put the book back and took out another book.

He began to check.

[‘Dwarven Language’ is required.]

[‘Oak Language’ is required.]

[‘Demon Language’ is required.]

The languages needed to read the books indeed varied.

“After all….”

Soo Hyuk sighed while looking at the numerous books emitting black light.

“I need to know the languages…”

No matter how the old books were, he never thought he would need to learn different languages.

He just thought he could read it naturally.

‘What do I do?’

Soo Hyuk was worried.

Numerous skill books were present in the auction house and among them were the language skills books such as Elven and Orc.

No, the language skill books are not only sold in the auction houses but also in Matab.

‘I can’t use the skill books…’

However, Soo Hyuk’s job did not allow him to learn skills from a skill book.

In other words, he cannot learn the language using skill books.

Learn it directly from the Elves or the Orcs?

The place where the elves are living was completely hidden.

And if you go to an Orc, an axe or bat will fly towards you.

Dwarves will take a long time to open their hearts to others, and he can’t find the demons just like the elves.

‘Someday an opportunity will come.’

While looking at the black books, Soo Hyuk pulled out the white books and returned to the desk.

The total number of white books was nine.

‘I can read all of these and then go to the auction house.’

Soo Hyuk can read five books in an hour if they are thin.

But these old books were very thick.

It will take quite a bit of time to read them all.

Soo Hyuk opened the book.

[Wisdom rises by 1]

[Wisdom rises by 1]

Every time he finished reading a book, countless messages appeared.

Soo Hyuk, who already knew that multiple messages would appear, did not pay much attention to the messages.

He focused on reading the next book and, after reading the last book, checked the number of messages.

He had a simple way of checking the number of messages.

‘Did it go up by 105?’

Soo Hyuk smiled after opening the character window and confirming his increased Wisdom.

‘Was it because the books were thick?’

He only read a few books but his Wisdom has drastically increased.

He was delighted.

Soo Hyuk closed his character window and checked the time.

‘It’s over.’

The current time was 8:05.

The auction ended at 8 o’clock.

‘How much did it sell for?’

He was excited.

Soo Hyuk got up from his seat and brought the books he had just read back to their original place.

Then he looked at the black books and thought.

‘Should I go like this?’

There was a collection of old books.

It could be said to be a very important place. Could he go just like this?

It was then.

Soo Hyuk heard footsteps while he was being worried.

Soo Hyuk looked out of the door and saw Cordell.

‘Good.’

There was no need to worry about it.

Soo Hyuk left the room and met Cordell.

“You are here.”

“Well have you read them all?”

Cordell asked with a surprised face.

“Yes, I have read everything that I could read.”

Soo Hyuk nodded his head and said with a smile.

“Can I come to read them later?”

“Of course.”

“I will guide you.”

After closing the door, Cordell took the lead and under his guidance, Soo Hyuk was able to reach the first floor of the Fire Tower.

After he greeted Cordell, he came out and headed for the warp gate while thinking.

‘Which auction house should I go to?’

It was time to check out Yarion’s Wrath’s winning bid but he couldn’t go to just any auction house.

Many users knew that Yarion’s Wrath’s owner was Soo Hyuk and that he belonged to the Reader Guild.

What if he just showed up with the Reader Guild mark?

Many users will certainly come to him.

Soo Hyuk didn’t want to be in such a situation.

‘Yes, I can go there.’

Soon after, he made a decision while thinking about a quiet auction house.

“Where will you like to go?”

“Erian of Aimis Kingdom.”

When he went there because of the library, he was really surprised by the number of users there.

Even though it was a city, there were no users there.

Considering that there are no people even on the weekends, there wouldn’t be many people there right now.

“It will be 50 gold.”

“Here you go.”

Soo Hyuk handed over the 50 gold and was able to warp to Erian of Aimis Kingdom.

‘It’s so quiet.’

Soo Hyuk looked around the warp gate, smiled, and headed towards the auction house.

“Whoa, I am really envious.”

“What? Yarion’s Wrath.”

“Huh. If it was mine, I could even beat down a company.” [TL Note: A unit of a larger army]

Soo Hyuk’s expression further amplified when listening to the conversations of the users at the auction house.

As soon as he entered, Soo Hyuk approached the NPC at the auction house and opened the auction window to confirm Yarion’s Wrath’s winning bid.

He was very surprised after confirming it.
