"Stand back and deal with the horde. I'll deal with the big one." Said Gray as he stepped up.

After seeing what he had done earlier inside, no one doubted Gray's abilities. They didn't doubt it but... Looking at that Giant zombie on steoroids, they couldn't help but wonder whether he was alright in the head.

The zombie was charging at them, and would go into contact with them any second by now. The ground trembled with every step of it, as it ran on it's fours.

After getting a closer look, they could see that it's arms were twice the size of it's head.

Gray on the other hand, was a young fit man with two knives in his hand who hadn't even reached his prime age.

And yet-

[Pause Step]

Gray vanished, appearing in the air in front of the charging zombie. Dropping as he swung his knife down.

[Pause]

It was in no way close to the zombie. Everyone thought he had misjudged the distance and missed.

But that was far from it, upon landing on a platform of air, above a horde of swarming zombies, gray muttered the word.

[Pause]

Meanwhile, he could hear everyone shouting at him to move out of the way as the large zombie would littearly trample over him. However-

*Slash*

They were left speechless, their jaws dropped as that large zombie was vertically sliced in half, it's organs and blood spilling out of it from the inside, almost covering Gray if not for the fact that he had paused the air above him, creating a rectangle which he used as an umbrella.

[You have slain Level 2 Mutated Tank Zombie]

[You have earned 10 XP]

[XP Required to level up: 284/300]

[Pause Step]

As if none of that had just happened, Gray could be seen pause stepping in front of the hordes, which drew closer and closer, swinging his knife ahead of them and then pausing, whilst he stepped back..

He did this because there was still a risk of getting bitten if he fought them from close up.

[You have slain a zombie- You have slain a zomb- You have slain a zombie!]

[Zombies slain: 6...7...8...]

[XP Gained, accumulating.]

"Realm had a cool name like Spatial tear... Hm... I guess I should think of a cool name t this move..." He uttered to himself, after having three slashes paused.

He could no longer use pause, as it would cancel out the horizontal slashes he currently had which were dealing with most of the zombies which walked into it.

Seeing as how the horde of zombies drew closer. The people who had been watching in amazement now began to strike back.

"Now isn't the time for us to be admiring! Let's kill those monsters!!" The flame guy shouted as he gathered the flames in his hand before releasing them like a flamethrower across the body of the zombies.

[Pause Step]

Gray appeared beside him, standing ahead of his group. Kylo's mother was still healing him, Lita still had her eyes shut and Violet and Aurora were looking directly at Gray, waiting for his next instructions.

"Can you two jump with all that baggage?" Gray asked as he patted them in the head.

Although he was trying to hide it, they could tell he was getting tired. Understanding this, the two nodded. The pats caused Violet's cheeks to slightly redden whilst Aurora was almost letting out steam.

Seeing this, Kylo and Lita's mother, couldn't help but chuckle.

"I'll hold on to him. We're jumping on to platforms to the top of the dome." Said Gray as he suddenly turned and grabbed onto Kylo, placing him on his back.

"Ah-Alright..." Their mother replied, still somewhat nervous around him.

She rubbed her hands nervously and occasionally glanced at him as if wanting to say something, but since she hadn't yet, Gray didn't ask.

"You guys coming?" Gray asked, as he looked at the groups beside them.

Hastily they nodded their heads, thanking him for the invite.

"On three everyone jump! If you miss, you're out!" Gray yelled out, whilst also lifting up Lita.

Everyone nodded.

At the top of the dome, strong winds blew by as the moonlight shone upon the group. They could see helicopters flying into the city, along with the hordes of zombies scurrying around on the ground.

The clouds had gathered and rain began to pour on the fifteen individuals as they observed the fleets all around the city.

"So what do we do now?" One of them asked.

The tall muscular brown haired man who had been controlling the flames was the one to ask. In this weather his flames were practically useless.

They all turned to Gray as if awaiting a response. Gray on the other hand had his sights on the naval fleet above them.

'After some rest, Maybe I should go pay them a visit and see what they want?' Gray wondered.

"Gray?" Aurora called out to him.

"Hm? Ah right. You guys can do whatever you want." He then turned to his group with a smile before saying. "Let's go."

Seeing as how Gray and his group were leaving, the other groups grew increasingly more worried.

"W-What? You're leaving?" One of them asked

"Why don't you join us?"

"Yeah! We can form an alliance! Together we'll be able to survive for longer!"

Gray turned back to them before apologising. "Sorry, I'll have to refuse the offer."

Travelling in a big group was something he wanted avoid no matter what. 6 was big enough, if not for the fact that two were kids, he'd be opposed to it. Taking care of all these people, rationalling supplies. It would be a nightmare.

"Can you at least take us somewhere away from here? We're surrounded." Spoke the brown haired man.

Gray could then feel gazes on the back of his head coming from his group as if they were also pleading for him to help them.

"Sure." He replied.
