The tribe leaders control over the branches was let loose.

They branches began to sway around attacking everything in sight.

Just as it was about to his one of the houses filled with people of his tribe, it was stopped by Gray who pause stepped there right before it could.

[Pause.]

The branch whipped at him before it froze in place.

On the other hand, the other branches crashed into the surrounding trees, getting closer and closer to the huts as they did so.

'Has he gone mad?' Gray wondered as he sent him another glare.

When he did, he noticed that the tribes leader wasn't moving only simply hanging onto a tree branch which had caught him on his fall.

Gray could see through the cracks in his mask that his eyes were closed, as if he had been knocked out.

Watching the destruction unfold, Gray looked around. In an effort to minimise the damage, the tribesmen had stopped fighting and tried to cut and stop the branches, but there was no end to them, they were surrounded by trees.

A complete mess, even the huts themselves were built on top of trees

On the docks of the Kingdom, fleets were gathered together side by side.

Members of the crew were working themselves out preparing everything.

Charlotte, who was watching silently from a distance, became increasingly worried. "I didn't expect them to make a move so fast... She said she had a plan, but what at this stage how can Ruby stop them?"

Her eyes turned back to the kingdom as she turned around.

"I cannot even imagine the outcome if the older nobles begin to act..."

"My son... I was told you were killed." Said a man in the middle of a dining room as he raised his cup of wine.

A tall, spiky black haired man was standing in front of him, wearing a cloak with a crest embroidered on it. Known as the Duke by many, he had infiltrated the Government's base in pursuit of the president's head.

However, before he could finish them off, he was informed of the King's death and thus retreated onto one of the fleets in secret.

"Father, I have returned... I have some news which I think you'd be delighted to hear." Said the Duke

"Then you best say it before your mother arrives, ever since she heard of your death, she's been heading to the docks to check on her fleet. Quite desperate for revenge, you see..." Replied the Duke's father.

*Swoosh!*

Delta, suddenly appeared beside Gray on top of a flying manifested bird of flames before looking at him with a look that asked, what the plan was for now.

After being asked such, Gray pointed at where the tribes leader figure was lying around.

Branches had formed around him on their own to protect him this time, it was as if his ability had a life of its own.

But that wasn't what Gray was pointing at, he was pointing at the tribes girl who he had seen before. There she stood above the branches covering the tribes leader.

Her palm glowed a bright green light as she thrust it down through the cocoon made of wood.

The instant she did, everything stopped. The branches calmed down and began to retract back to shink back to their normal size.

The jungle no longer as if it were enraged and the tension and lessened.

Despite that, the tribes people were still tense, they had their guards up in case another wave might come.

After seeing the tribes girl with the the leader hanging over her shoulders, they gained a sense of relief.

"Did she kill him?" Gray asked before unpausing the platform beneath himself and landing onto Delta's flying bird.

He was quickly proven wrong on the following moment as the leader suddenly got up and took off his mask.

He rubbed the back of his head with a confused look.

The girl placed her hand on the tree beside him and a few branches extended out, creating something for him to sit on.

She too had the ability to control the trees.

After putting him down, he looked around observing the destruction he had caused from having lost control.

After saying a few words that were too far away for anyone but her to hear, he punched himself in the face. A frustrated self-loathing look could be seen on his face as he clenched his fists.

"I heard you stopped one of the branches from attacking the settlements after I lost control... I thank you... Outsider." Said the tribes leader.

'It wasn't my intention, it just hit me on it's own so I paused it.' Gray thought to himself.

"Sure, no problem." Gray replied.

"We've been going through a lot recently and because of how greedy others who come to this forest have been, we've been on edge." He continued. "I'd like to make it up to you, is there anything you'd like?"

Gray looked around, the other tribes men and women were watching.

It was probably uncommon for them to see people from outside their tribes for some of them based on the look of admiration they were giving him.

Although some were still wary, they were a lot less tense around him compared to before.

"There is one way... Me and this person here..." Gray pointed at Delta, she glanced back at him with narrowed eyes. "Need to get going towards the Kingdom. Is there any water sources safe to drink from around here so we have something decent to drink on our journey?"

They were much closer to the Kingdom than they were when they first woke up. They wasted enough time fighting the tribes people, all they wanted to do now was carry on with their mission.

"Are you sure that is all you want?" The Tribes leader asked with a confused look.

"Yeah, is that a problem?" Gray replied

"Not at all, my daughter will take you to our water source, there is only one which is safe to drink from. However, I'll feel bad if that is all we give you after having mistreated you in such a way..."

"No, it's-"

"Since you're heading to the kingdom, how about I offer you a way to get there as soon as possible?"
