Lin Nuan’s heart was beating so fast it felt like it was about to jump out of her chest, Fu Huai’an’s attractive voice was torturing her.

In her moment of panic, Lin Nuan was unable to retort back at Fu Huai’an and she avoided making eye contact with him, feeling frustrated with herself…

When she was in the car, Lin Nuan did think of what Fu Huai’an just said, but she still came over. Before she saw a replacement driver on the move, she hadn’t even thought of the service.

Lin Nuan was uneasy from being seen through by Fu Huai’an, and anxious because of her intimacy with him.

Perhaps apart from Tuan Tuan being asleep, Lin Nuan was probably attracted to how gentlemanly Fu Huai’an looked in a suit. Despite already understanding how dirty Fu Huaiain could be, but… she kept getting deceived by how his exterior appearance looked stable and proper.

Or maybe…

It was because Fu Huai’an looked different from the young guys nowadays who all had fair skin and slightly feminine features. Fu Huai’an was full of masculine charisma and he was a reliable man who had much success in his career. That kind of man tended to attract slightly mature women who found themselves unable to resist.

His calm gaze looked towards Lin Nuan as he leaned even closer, speaking in a deliberately deeper voice, “Tell me, why?”

“Because Tuan Tuan fell asleep…” Lin Nuan answered without confidence as she pushed out her hands to pull apart the distance between her and Fu Huai’an. “And, you said you’d let the driver send me home.”

“Only you would believe that.”

The man’s attractive voice made her heartbeat speed up, especially when they were adults in a room together at dawn, it sounded even more seductive.

Lin Nuan’s guilt made her body heat up and she didn’t know how to reply to him. Her throat felt suffocated…

She ignored her rapid heartbeat and put on a bold front as she looked up at Fu Huai’an, unsure if she wanted herself to believe that she said the truth, or if she wanted Fu Huai’an to believe it.

Their gazes met.

Fu Huai’an lowered his head and slowly leaned closer. Lin Nuan clenched her fists and her eyelashes couldn’t resist trembling slightly.

Lin Nuan subconsciously leaned back in an effort to minimize her presence, but she couldn’t avoid Fu Huai’an’s burning hot breaths…

Fu Huai’an’s dark, half-lidded eyes focused on Lin Nuan’s face, his tall nose slightly touching Lin Nuan’s as their breaths mingled together. Lin Nuan couldn’t handle it and heat started to pool in her lower abdomen.

The man’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly as his thin lips kissed Lin Nuan’s, not giving her a chance to resist as he pecked her lips lightly before letting go…

Lin Nuan’s heart was beating so fast that her mind went blank and she could only hear the sounds of her loud heartbeat. She thought that the one kiss would be the end, but once she lowered her gaze, her chin was grabbed onto by the man’s big hand, and his lips once again pressing down onto hers.

Lin Nuan was nervous, her entire body tensing. Just as she was about to struggle, the pair of thin lips left again…

She pulled at Fu Huai’an’s hand on her chin to try and get him to let go, but Fu Huai’an jumped at the chance to hold her face in his hand, kissing her once more…

Lin Nuan thought that Fu Huai’an would release her after another light kiss so she didn’t push him away, but the kiss… Fu Huai’an didn’t seem to have any intentions of letting go of Lin Nuan’s lips, and his tongue pried at her teeth.

She did not know why she would always let Fu Huai’an do what he wanted – probably because Lin Nuan actually did not feel repulsed by him. She had even felt some emotions every time they interacted, even though Lin Nuan was unwilling to admit it.

He was different from Wen Moshen, who she secretly liked. Wen Moshen was always gentle and elegant, but Fu Huai’an… Maybe because he was a lawyer, he had an imposing aura that never failed to make her hair rise.
