Chapter 73: Treasure Map

After throwing the Jazz Dance Doll into the blue slots of the Ring, Jiang Fei continued to look at the items dropped by the boss.

Stolen Jewelry (ETC, Quality: Gray)

Remarks: Many merchants in Dawnlight City purchase this jewelry at a price of 100 gold coins.

Nothing much could be said about this. This was junk to players, but NPC shops bought them at a fair price.

Bandit’s Treasure Map (Treasure Map, Quality: Good)

Use: Reveals the location of the Bandit’s treasures!

Required Level: 25

“Hmm? Interesting!” When Jiang Fei saw the last item, he smiled.

This boss had dropped lots of items, but nothing was as useful as the Territory Order and Epic shield. The Territory Order had most probably taken up the bulk of the value that the boss had to offer. That was what Jiang Fei had thought before coming across this Treasure Map.

The so-called Treasure Map gave him directions to an Unknown Dungeon. As long as players were strong enough, they could take what they wanted!

However, this Treasure Map required the player to be Level 25 before it could be used. Currently, Jiang Fei was only Level 21. However, he was about to level up. He would probably level up after he handed the secret letter to the City Guard Commander. But this still left him with 3 levels to deal with.

After carefully stowing away the Treasure Map, Jiang Fei tore a Return Scroll up and rushed to where the City Guards were stationed. Once he delivered the letter, his level increased to 22 — as expected. He even got 50 gold coins as a reward. After he sold the Gray quality jewelry to the shop, Jiang Fei had already earned a total of 150 gold coins for the day. This may be insignificant to Jiang Fei, but it was already more than the weekly income of an average, small guild!

Jiang Fei gazed at his attributes. After leveling up and swapping out his shield, his Health Points had exceeded 7,000!

Player: Verdure Glider

Level: 22

Class: Divine Blacksmith (Apprentice)

Experience Points: 12,475/1,125,000

Health Points: 7,360/7,360

Mana Points: 420/420

Physical Attack Power: 90+115

Physical Defense: 251+320

Magic Defense: 84+120

Jiang Fei’s Health Points and defense had shot up, as his overall combat effectiveness did. Compared to other players of the same level who only had Health Points of about 5,000 and a defense value of about 400, Jiang Fei was arguably Dawnligh City’s strongest tank at the moment! Moreover, he most likely left the next runner-up far behind in the dust!

When he was done with everything, he glanced at the time and realized that it was time to go offline soon. Compared to yesterday, Jiang Fei had a blast. First, he cleared a Unknown Dungeon. What happened next was him killing a leader boss. Finally, he got to witness a large-scale player battle of 100,000 people.

“This is the kind of game I want! Squatting in the city forging equipment with a hammer? That’s nonsense!” Jiang Fei said to himself.

At six in the morning, Jiang Fei returned to reality. The weekend had passed, and today, it was once again the dreaded Monday blues!

Jiang Fei got up to find that his mother had already prepared a nutritious breakfast. After that, he once again trudged to school.

A car flew past Jiang Fei. It was pretty fast, but nothing like the drag racing maniac from the other day.

“Sigh, who could have thought that I ended up saving the young master of the Manda Group?” Jiang Fei shook his head and smiled. Fate was a fickle thing. If he did not have a bottle of Health Points Potion in his pocket at that time, the trillionaire young master could not have bribed his way out of death. Life was just so fragile, even kings fell like flies if the circumstances presented themselves!

“Brother Fei, how did you get to know Han Tianyu?” Little fatty Zhao Feng scurried over. It was basically impossible for plebeians like them to be associated with those demigods.

“Didn’t I save a guy who got into a car accident back then? Well, it was him!” Jiang Fei told his childhood friend everything.

“No wonder!” Zhao Feng nodded. It instantly cleared up the mystery and fog in his head.

After his curiosity was satiated, Zhao Feng quickly dropped the topic. After all, he was still from a completely different world. But now, he had to know more about Jiang Fei’s game character in “Dawn Break”!

“Brother Fei, what level are you now?” Zhao Feng asked.

“22!” Jiang Fei replied.

“Damn! 22?” Zhao Feng asked incredulously.

“What’s wrong?” Jiang Fei wondered.

“Brother Fei, be my sugar daddy!” Zhao Feng suddenly threw himself on the other guy’s body.

“F*cking hell! God damn fatso, are you trying to crush me to death?” Jiang Fei felt as if he had been buried alive by an avalanche of meat.

“Hehe… my mistake! My mistake!” Zhao Feng smiled, embarrassed. Originally, he had only wanted to tap Jiang Fei’s shoulder, but he had tripped over the table and frog splashed Jiang Fei.

“What do you mean by mistake! Just get your ass off! I’m turning into flatbread here!” Jiang Fei struggled to push Zhao Feng off.

“Brother Fei, please say that you’ll help me!” Zhao Feng said with a bitter face. He had worked really hard on grinding for the past few days, but he was only Level 19 at the moment.

“Sure, just add me at night, I’ll bring you into an Elite Dungeon for one round, and you’ll be able to reach Level 20!” Jiang Fei nodded.

“Damn! Brother Fei, you can bring me into an Elite Dungeon?” Zhao Feng opened his eyes wide and asked.

“Is it that difficult?” Jiang Fei rolled his eyes.

“Swap the ‘is’ word with the ‘it’! Even the four major guilds in Dawnlight City are stuck on the third boss. The only people that can clear the dungeon is that clan with Verdure Glider and his harem!” Zhao Feng said started off earnestly, but quickly interrupted himself. “Wait! Brother Fei, you’re Verdure Glider, aren’t you?”

This was because Jiang Fei always picked the name Wind Shadow in all his games. It was understandable that he would fail to link Jiang Fei to Verdure Glider.

“Hehe!” Jiang Fei laughed, nodding.

“Brother Fei, get me into your clan! You have so many girls in your clan, you can’t have them all by yourself!” Zhao Feng suddenly demanded.

“Back off… that’s not my clan…” Jiang Fei rolled his eyes. After thinking for a moment, he went on to say, “But… I can get you in a decent guild where all the members are above Level 19!”

Jiang Fei had figured out that Big Brother Bear and the others would have already finished forming a guild, as per his instructions. Having Zhao Feng supervise these punks was an added bonus!

“Are there any girls there?” Zhao Feng asked.

“There are, I guess…” When Jiang Fei thought of that crazy girl, the corners of his mouth twitched.

“Deal! Brother Fei, I love you to death…” Zhao Feng said, and he looked like he was about to jump onto Jiang Fei again.

“Oh no, you f*cking don’t! God damn homo, if you come over again, I’ll spit on you!” Jiang Fei raised a finger in warning. He did not want to risk having his ribs crushed!

The morning class passed by rather quickly. In the afternoon, the Class Queen, Sun Mengmeng purposefully strode towards Jiang Fei once again…
