Chapter 148: Neighbor Who Repairs Computers

Ning Wei was stirring the pills in Chen Shulan’s water and lifted her head when she heard this.

She limped over anxiously.

“Mu Ying, Yu’er only brought back two tickets. How could these be the tickets she sent? What are you doing?” She squatted down to pick up the tickets that had fallen to the ground. “Hurry up and apologize to your cousin!”

“Cough, cough…” Chen Shulan woke up from her sleep.

Mu Ying actually regretted it after throwing the tickets.

She remembered rumors about Qin Ran in all aspects.

“I was the one who gave Ran Ran the tickets.” Chen Shulan coughed again and said in a weak voice, “The teacher who taught Ran Ran last time mailed it to her.”

How could Qin Ran have a teacher who would mail her such tickets?

Qin Ran glanced at Chen Shulan behind her and took a step aside. She lifted her chin, gestured at the door, and said emotionlessly, “Get out.”

Mu Ying glanced at Qin Ran and pursed her lips. “I’m sorry, cousin.”

Qin Ran took the tickets and the book that Mu Nan handed her. Then, she stuck the tickets between the book, put it back in her bag, and repeated herself, “Get out.”

Neither Ning Wei nor Mu Nan spoke, and Chen Shulan just closed her eyes slightly.

The whole ward was standing on Qin Ran’s side.

With her eyes red, Mu Ying ran out directly without saying anything.

“Ran Ran, I’m sorry.” Ning Wei glanced in Mu Ying’s direction and handed the ticket to Qin Ran. “Ying Ying… I didn’t teach her well…”

Ning Wei sat on a chair on the side and covered her eyes.

Her husband was still in a vegetative state. She usually had to work or rush to the hospital, so she had indeed neglected her two children.

“It’s okay. You didn’t teach Mu Nan either, but he’s very good.” Qin Ran picked up her bag and flung it behind her back, her tone indifferent.

Qin Ran was emotionless today and just left after bidding farewell to Chen Shulan.

Mu Nan sent her out silently.

The elevator door opened and Mu Nan spoke expressionlessly, “I saw your score on the honor list.”

Qin Ran was speechless.

“646, it’s a good score.”

Qin Ran was speechless.

The lousy feeling of suppressed anger because of Mu Ying dissipated suddenly.

Mu Nan glanced at her again, pursed his lips, and continued expressionlessly, “Give me back Brother Song’s notebook.”

Qin Ran was speechless.

After leaving the hospital, Qin Ran didn’t go to the airport. She went to the bank and then took a cab to the airport.

It was 4:55 in the afternoon at Beijing’s airport.

Ning Qing got off the plane and saw Qin Yu waiting for her.

“Yu’er.” Ning Qing waved to Qin Yu and sped up.

“Mom, this is the Shen family’s driver.” Qin Yu tilted her head and introduced her to a man in a black suit.

Ning Qing looked over and the man took the suitcase in her hand. He wore a formal suit with a cold expression and seemed to have a strong aura.

Secretly shocked, she didn’t expect the Shen family’s driver to be so different.

Qin Yu was used to it and just raised an eyebrow as she glanced behind Ning Qing. “Mom, sister really didn’t come?”

“Yeah.” At the mention of this, Ning Qing frowned and followed Qin Yu out. She said in agitation, “Don’t talk about her.”

Chen Shulan always said she was young and there was no need to hurry.

But Qin Yu was one year younger than her, so this wasn’t a problem of age at all.

She wasn’t comprehensive, never grasped opportunities, and even gave up on the violin since young.

She really shouldn’t be wasting time on her.

The two of them got into the car together and headed to a hotel instead of the Shen family’s house.

Although she felt a little uncomfortable, Ning Qing still sighed in relief.

She couldn’t even cope with Lin Wan alone and would really be breathless if she had to deal with all the Shen family.

The hotel security guard took the suitcase in Ning Qing’s hands.

“Mom, check-in is already done. This is the largest hotel in Beijing. Aunt has reserved the 56th floor for you, and you can overlook the night scene from there.” Qin Yu followed her into the elevator. “I’ll send you back to your room, then I’ll go back. Grandpa Shen is going back to the Shen family tonight and aunt wants me to play the violin for him.”

“Then you should hurry and practice.” Ning Qing knew that Grandpa Shen liked Qin Yu and didn’t dare to take up her time.

Qin Yu swiped the door with the card and said lightly, “It’s not particularly urgent, they can wait for a while.”

She must have something to rely on if she dared to say this. Ning Qing realized that Qin Yu was much better off in the Shen family’s house than she had imagined.

“Mom, look outside.” Qin Yu opened the curtains with the remote control and stood by the glass window. She looked at the night scene and turned sideways with her eyes flashing. “The Shen family is only the tip of the iceberg in Beijing. In the capital, the Shen family can only reach the lowest circle.”

Early winter was cold and night came fast.

But outside, there was a display of lights.

Ning Qing unscrewed a bottle of water to take a sip. When she heard this, she glanced at Qin Yu.

Qin Yu turned around again, took out her phone, and smiled. “It’s really a pity that sister didn’t come.”

**

Qin Ran arrived at the airport.

Wearing a white sweater and a coat, she pulled the sweater’s hat over her head and carried her backpack directly towards a taxi.

First, she sent a message to Lu Zhaoying to inform him that she had arrived at her relative’s house.

Lu Zhaoying, who was already on the plane, sent her an “OK”. Then, he glanced at Cheng Juan, who was in front of him. “Master Juan, Qin Ran arrived at her relative’s house.”

Cheng Juan responded lazily and then pulled the small blanket over his body.

At the Beijing airport, Qin Ran put her phone in her pocket.

It rang again.

Qin Ran put on her headphones. It was a call from Gu Xichi.

“I’m back in China, at the devil’s capital.” Gu Xichi’s voice was a little lazy and he sounded tired. “I’ll go back to Yun Cheng to see you tomorrow, then I’ll get some tools to find your grandma.”

Qin Ran lined up for a bus and pulled down her sweater hat. She leaned on the barrier next to her and stretched out her long legs in an unruly manner. “No need, I’m in Beijing.”

Gu Xichi laughed and poured himself a glass of water. “Then I won’t go to Beijing. Beijing is a wolf den, there are many people there who want to catch me.”

“Yeah.” The crowd moved and Qin Ran saw that it was almost her turn, so she took two steps forward. “Wait for me to return to Yun Cheng. As for my grandma… you don’t have to go over for now.”

Her voice sounded different. Gu Xichi paused and stood up from the sofa. “Are you alright?”

“She has excessive radiation and abnormal organ aging.” Qin Ran looked at the taxi and said lightly, “She’s allergic to most of the drugs.”

Gu Xichi almost spat out his water. He coughed and said, “Your grandma has radiation? What radiation? The computer radiation from your neighbor who repairs computers?”

“How many times must I say that Uncle Lu doesn’t repair computers.” The taxi stopped in front and Qin Ran pulled open the door. She got in and corrected Gu Xichi.

Gu Xichi responded casually, “Okay, okay. He doesn’t. Fine.”

He hung up.

There was a message from Wei Zihang on Weibo—

[Sister Ran, Qiao Sheng said you took leave today. Did you go to Beijing?]

Qin Ran slowly replied him with one word—

[Yeah.]

In Yun Cheng, Wei Zihang was eating beef noodles with Qiao Sheng. He put down his chopsticks and wiped his hands with a tissue before calmly dialing a phone number. “Buy me the latest flight to Beijing.”

Opposite, Qiao Sheng had his legs propped up casually. When he heard this, he looked up. “Why are you all going to Beijing?”

If it wasn’t because Wei Zihang didn’t like Qin Yu, Qiao Sheng would have thought that he was going to watch her performance.

The flight information was sent quickly to Wei Zihang’s phone number.

Wei Zihang squinted slightly and looked down. He put down his chopsticks and said in an easy-going manner that didn’t sound like a domineering school bully at all, “Enjoy your meal, I’m going to the airport.”

**

The devil capital.

Gu Xichi hung up the phone and leaned on the sofa. He lowered his head and sent a message asking Qin Ran to send Chen Shulan’s case to him.

Then, he stood up, took out his computer, and copied a web address from the desktop. He entered another web page.

This website was the hacker alliance website he had spent one million to buy.

It had been given to him by the Interpol. There were too many people investigating him, and Interpol was so annoyed by him that they threw a website address to him after receiving money.

He opened the website and a white page appeared. The computer camera opened automatically and, after verifying his face, logged in directly to the customer background.

It showed the order that Gu Xichi had placed a few days ago.

Gu Xichi took a sip of water and then put down the glass.

He clicked confirm and put his fingers on the keyboard to type a good comment calmly.

doctorGU: Your ability to act is too strong, and you solved my problem in a short time. Only the name Li Dazhuang sounds a little bad, but other than that, everything is nice.

The other party directly refunded the money.

And then a message came.

[… we haven’t taken action yet, though?]
