He had constructed himself an impeccable dream, and he had believed that he could keep this dream alive as long as he lived.

However, no matter how rich he was, a dream couldn't be a reality. Reality couldn't be bought, and things started to move down a direction that he didn't anticipated.

Honestly, that night more than one year ago, when he shared the bed with Cheng Qingchong, he did consider forcing the sex. After all, it was part of their contract; why should he not reap the reward of his investment?

However, after her crying and her unreasonableness, he became tired, lost interest, and left.

When he visited her next, it was one month later. This time, he was not going to let her off that easy anymore. However, before dinner, he received a call from his daughter's school. His daughter accidentally fell down the stairs and was bleeding profusely. She needed blood, and the blood bank at the hospital was running low. Thus, she needed donation and needed it fast.

He had already lost Xiao Yin; he couldn't suffer the loss of his daughter. He was scolding the hospital and the school heavily on the phone when the quiet Cheng Qingchong suddenly spoke up. She said that she had the same blood type as his daughter, and she was willing to volunteer to help his daughter.

Cheng Qingchong gave more than one liter of blood. After the transfusion, she came down with a fever, and she was so weak that she could barely walk.

But his daughter was saved.

And it was then that the dream he constructed for himself started to shift. He didn't touch her. Initially, he thought he was being thankful, but even as time passed, he didn't touch her, one month later, two months later, six months later, or even one year later.

In the end, even he couldn't figure out the real reason he hadn't touched her. He called her Xiao Yin, and he saw her as Xiao Yin, but internally, he knew that her name was Cheng Qingchong.

His daughter loved her, and she too loved his daughter. In fact, her relationship with his daughter was even better than his relationship with his daughter. His daughter referred to her as Auntie Cheng, and during his daughter's birthday, she silently whispered to him that she wished for Auntie Cheng to be her mother. When he heard that wish, he nodded with a smile.

He had assumed that was because it was his daughter's wish. If his daughter wanted the stars from the sky, he would take them down for her.

Therefore, he started to think about how to make Cheng Qingchong marry him. However, before he could make any move, Qin Yinan's document was delivered to him. He signed it. In fact, when he saw the document for the first time, he knew he would sign it.

Qin Yinan's analysis of him was accurate; he was a businessman.

Even if he did have other wishes, he would always put his own business first. It was like so many years ago, why he chose to marry Xiao Yin even though there were other women out there whom he was more interested in. The reason was simple; Xiao Yin came from a wealthier family than other women and loved him more than other women.

There was one thing that Xiao Yin loved to keep on her lips; she was envious of him, and she wished their daughter would be more like him, instead of her.

It had confused him at the time, but he understood it now.

Xiao Yin wished that their daughter would learn from him, to put herself first, to have some self-love.

It was true. The person he loved the most in the world was himself. No matter what decision he made in life, the first person he considered about was himself. He was clearer than anyone else that he wanted to keep Cheng Qingchong around, but more than that, he wanted to have Qin Yinan's company to expand his business.

Jin Ze tipped his head back to look at a plane that crossed the sky. He blinked several times before pulling out his phone to send Cheng Qingchong a message.
