The truth was, It was Far West that had told him that GhostWalker had lowered his power level to the first stage by separating his original power from his body in order to enter the small world.

Roy was smart and quite capable.

He connected the dots and realized that this pendant must be where he stored his original power.

Of course, he wasn't going to tell him that.

Roy immediately composed himself, staring at him with sharp eyes. "Oh, I can see through you. I know all there is to know about you."

"Then… you must already know that there's a reason you can never win against me. It is a power-storing soul shard that contains the full power of a peak Weapon Master. Against it, what are you? You're not its match. I don't want to waste it on your pitiful life. It is meant for someone else, someone whose life is more valuable than yours. But if you force my hand, you… shall be the one on whom it'll be used!" GhostWalker threatened.

It only contained one powerful attack. After it is revealed, it would become useless unless a magic spell or something along the line is imbued in it. This soul shard was good and also bad since it could contain only one attack at a time.

"Do it!" Roy said, undeterred by him.

GhostWalker: "…" Huh? Is he serious? Does he not realize that this external soul shard contains the full power of a peak-level Weapon Master?! Why is he asking to eat it? Does he not fear death?!

"I won't rest till you die." Roaring that out, Roy rushed towards him with a sword in hand.

This was enough to make him feel so endangered that he activated it.

Feeling a great fluctuation of energy around the power-storing soul shard, Roy jumped back to his swords, picking them up.

Waves of reddish energy gushed out of the pendant-like shard, swirling and twirling, condensing into the shape of a menacing red ball with red lightning churning all over it.

[Soul-annihilating Ball of Chaos!]

GhostWalker pushed his hands forward, and it shot towards Roy like a dazzling star. It grew bigger and bigger with each passing moment. It was magnifying, becoming ridiculously gigantic.

Seeing that thing approaching him rapidly, Roy swung his sword down, inky blade line gushing out of its tip.

『The Roar of the Sword has been activated!!』

It met with the reddish ball in mid-air. The roar was immediately muffled. However, it cost it one-third of its size to silence it.

『The special effect of Piercer and Reflection has been activated!!』

The phantom of a grandly dressed knight accompanied by sharp, dazzling arcs shaped like a crescent moon could be seen clashing with it next. They vanished after decreasing the ball's size by another one-third and persisting against it for three seconds.

With only one-third of its size left, it didn't look as ferocious as before, but it was enough to harm Roy severely.

『You've activated the first function of the Devil's hand.』

『The Soul Spell, Mana Shield, was activated!』

Two mana shields appeared in the way of the Ball of Chaos while Roy ran to the other side of the hall.

Initially, it was big enough to cover the entire hall, but now it was only big enough to cover one part of it. He would be safe as long as he reached that corner.

The two shields were destroyed after coming in contact with it, but they delayed it by 0.3 seconds. This time wasn't wasted by Roy. He could be seen trying to get out of its trajectory.

And... he did.

"There's no escape." But with a wave of his hand, GhostWalker changed its direction.

"Whoosh!"

An instant after, it came infinitely close to Roy; the electricity buzzing out of it cut open fresh wounds on his flesh.

"Just like the opponents I have faced in the past, you too will be crushed!" GhostWalker revealed the victor's smile.

Just as it was about to land on Roy, a figure appeared before him out of thin air; their back was scorched by the lightning swirling around the ball of Chaos, but they gritted their teeth and grabbed him by the arm, and teleported to a safe spot with him.

"Boom!" The ball of Chaos crashed on the pillar behind them and exploded.

Clouds of dust raised, coloring the air brown and blinding the enemy's vision.

Roy was teleported to the opposite corner of the hall. It was covered by the shadows of the pillars. He was able to feel someone on top of him, and he also felt something soft squishing against his chest. But he couldn't quite see them. Yet, he was sure they must be something because their scent was quite wonderful.

"You better pay me for this." They said with narrowed eyes as they rolled away from above them and laid down on the ground, breathing shallowly.

Roy was familiar with this voice.

"Delilah? What're you doing here?" Never in his wildest dream could he have thought he would be saved by her in this place.

"Deal with him first. If he gets away, you'll be the one to be blamed for all the killing he does next." Delilah urged him.

"It's indeed time I put an end to this drawn-out battle." Heeding her advice, Roy stood up and moved through the cloud of dust to reach GhostWalker, who was standing next to the altar.

"Cough!"

As it was dark back in the corner, Roy didn't realize Swift Death was injured. The second he left her side, she coughed out a mouthful of blood. There were tears in her eyes. The stinging pain in her back was unbearable. But she tolerated it in silence.

"I won!" GhostWalker failed to notice that Roy was saved.

Thus, he cheered, thinking that he had killed him.

But his heart started beating erratically as he heard footsteps approaching him.

Raising his head, he saw a shadowy figure in the dust clouds.

"No way, it can't be him." He uttered.

Yet, the person who stepped out of it was really his worst nightmare!

Roy said, "You're celebrating too early."

"H-how could you be alive?!"

"You're free to find that out in Hell!"

Roy moved in for the kill. But to his surprise, GhostWalker sacrificed his hand to stop one of his swords from reading his life and threw away his pride, and did a donkey roll to dodge the other.

Then... he shamelessly ran towards the staircase out of the second floor.

'What a shameless bastard.' Roy, of course, chased after him.

Like a pig running away from a butcher that tried to butcher it, GhostWalker could also be seen running away from Roy.

They were in the hallway that connected the hall to the staircase.

In front of the stairs, Julian was seen standing.

When he saw him, GhostWalker's eyes lit up. 'This is the boy I kidnapped from the County! If I take him hostage, maybe I can reverse the situation.'

He thought of kidnapping Julian.

What he didn't know was that the boy would pull out several dozen deadly magic papers and unleash 50+ poison arrows at him.

This place was too narrow to dodge them.

He crossed his armored arms in front of his face and chest, hoping that the gauntlets would be able to absorb most of the damage.

One after another, the poison arrow smashed on him, pushing him several feet back and straight towards Roy.

"Puchi, Puchi!" Roy stabbed the back of his head with the sword, Reflection. At the same time, he penetrated his heart with Piercer by thrusting it into his back.

『Ding! You've landed multiple critical hits on GhostWalker. His HP has decreased to 1!』

"It's high time you died!" While speaking, Roy took the sword out of his head and swung it down towards his neck.

Immediately, he was beheaded.
