Chapter 60: Cute Mistakes

The rope swiftly hurled towards the man, but he dodged the robe’s attack without breaking a sweat. However, what Park Noah had intended to do was merely bind his wrists. His hands crossed into an ‘x’ as the robe tightened itself. Then, Park Noah exhaled a long sigh.

“A mana cutoff rope? When did you invent this again?” He asked, raising his eyebrow.

Park Noah pointed at the door as she stared at the man who was curiously inspecting the rope.

“When you ’re done, can you go out now?

“Huh?”

“Get out. Before you get reported of free ride.”

“What…”

“Mu, kick him out.”

The child responded to her order without delay. Black smoke began to appear on his hands and soon surrounded the man. The man’s eyes flashed in embarrassment.

“Hey, wait a minute. Eleonora. You said you wanted to know who I was?”

“I’m not curious anymore. I’m going to sleep, so get out. I’ll get up and come back later to you formally and politely. But it’s better if you don’t come at all. Bye, then.”

Black smoke completely shrouded the man’s figure. The next moment, his presence was erased from the cabin. As the smoke dispersed into the air, the man had disappeared without a trace.

“Be careful not to let that man in, Mu. Okay?”

Muell nodded his head obediently. Park Noah then fixed her disheveled hair and rested her back on the seat. She muttered under her breath, “Park Noah’s life, how come it’s a series of mines the moment you leave Sorrent…”

It was only the second day and she was already tailed by assassins and chased by the late witch’s lover. She had only planned to go to the capital discreetly, meet the heroine, complete the imprint, and return home. But what naivety it was. Perhaps her peaceful life had met its end not when she imprinted with a dragon, but when she transmigrated into this world.

Muell locked the door securely with Eleonora Asil’s customized lock, his face still flushed from the previous confrontation. Then, he positioned himself comfortably on the seat, covering his body with a blanket larger than him. “Good night, Noah!”

“Uhuh…” She closed her eyes and felt herself slipping into a slumber.

Park Noah awoke and noticed the train had stopped. She had spent a day and a half on the train bound to Battuanu and found the travel very boring. Then, she realized.

Currently, the trains are a type of steam locomotive powered by coal, so they were slower than modern high-speed trains. In addition, although it was an express train, it had to stop in between and refuel during long-distance trips.

The station was not in a big city, but there were inns and restaurants for the comfort of the travelers.

“Our train stops at this station for a while. The departure time is 6 p.m., so passengers should be on time.”

As they had to get to Tezeba quickly, Park Noah didn’t have to get off the train. Still, she had to wash her clothes out of conscience, the nagging voice of Kyle Leonard echoing in the back of her mind.

She was too lazy to visit an inn, so she asked Muell to wash her with magic. But her whole body was drenched with cold water instead.

“Ah, cold!”

“I’m sorry, master!” Muell screamed in panic and hastily grabbed Park Noah’s cheeks with his hands, casting a spell again. This time, there was a hot, dry gale swirling inside the small cabin.

“…..”

“Argh!”

Park Noah felt like she was suddenly thrown into the middle of a desert after being immersed in a cold lake for a brief moment. The water dried up in an instant. Unfortunately, however, her body was too fragile to be exposed to harsh conditions less than a week after recovering from anemia and from a decline in physical strength due to malnutrition.

“Eh… Achoo!”

I got a nasty cold virus.
