Geppel appeared to consider all elements of our last discussions; from the Archduke’s curse to me healing Sir Taylor’s arms.

In other words… It was also a sign that Geppel would be on my side if I healed Taylor.

‘I know you can’t believe it.’

I didn’t believe it either.

Nevertheless, it was for two reasons that Geppel did not say anything. A rational judgment trying to grasp the true meaning of what I meant, and a desire to grasp onto his wishes.

I went straight to Taylor to live up to expectations.

“Your… Highness?”

It was the same pondering looking on this side; not quite figured out the situation.

I had the gentlest smile I could ever have.

“Taylor Wooden. I’ll fix you up, so don’t worry.”

Taylor didn’t add anything. He seemed to have a similar attitude to the situation as Geppel, who was still silent.

A strange tension lingered.

I closed my eyes once to focus my mind on the upcoming healing. Then, without delay, reached out to Taylor’s arm.

Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

A bright light emanated from my hand. The light was the most intense one that I had ever seen while using the regression technique. In no time, divine lights permeated Taylor’s arms and wrapped around him.

In the midst of the quiet surrounding, enough to hear the sound of a clock ticking, his arms were cut into pieces like puzzles.

After hard work, his arms were perfectly regenerated.

“I’m done.” I grinned at him and announced the end of the treatment.

Taylor was staring blankly at his arms.

‘You can’t believe it.’

“No way.” This was Geppel’s turn to sound shocked. I could tell without looking at Geppel’s expression.

‘You might have an even more surprised look than Taylor.’

Everyone was in a state of apprehension. I was forced to talk again.

“Sir Taylor, would you like to move your arms?”

“Oh…! Yes!”

Taylor, who soon came to his senses, began to move his arms slowly with a baffled look on his face.

I watched Taylor’s behavior silently and asked.

“What do you say? Are you uncomfortable in any way?”

“No, no…” The water work started again.

While speaking, clear tears flowed from his eyes once more.

“Oh, I’m sorry. As I said before, as I grew older… It’s easier to get emotional… Before… I’ll stop.”

He couldn’t speak easily.

‘You never imagined I could fix it.’

He thought he would have to leave the temple.

Taylor shuddered for a while, unable to control the rising emotions. Then, rather authentically, he recited.

“This old man, my wish was to serve Geppel to the death. Your Highness makes this wish possible. Thank you very, very much.”

“Don’t mention it. I’m glad that the treatment went well.”

As I spoke, I stared at Geppel. As expected, he was bewildered by the situation. It was clear with the look on his face.

As soon as Geppel’s eyes met mine, he began to talk uncontrollably.

“Oh, my God, how can I… I don’t think… Have the strength, power of god.”

“It’s a regression technique.”

“Regression?”

I thought I would wait until Geppel’s words were sorted out, but I just beat it up. There was nothing I could hide since I already displayed my power.

Geppel frowned and asked for confirmation as if he had never heard of it. I nodded slightly and continued.

“Yes, it’s a different concept from divine power treatment used by the priests at the temple… Ah.”

Just then, at that moment, dizziness overcame me.

“Riddel!”

“Your Highness!”

“Highness!”

At the same time I heard Taylor’s urgent shout, Geppel and Sejan approached me in surprise.

Geppel, who succeeded in supporting me, soon asked with a worried face.

“Are you alright?”

“Oh, yeah, I’m fine. It’s just… I’m just a little… Tired.”

‘Riddel’s ability is directly related to the injuries, the higher the injury, the higher the fatigue.’

At this moment, I didn’t have much strength left in my body.

The accident was right, but I was in a state of flux.

“Wait! Let’s get energy…”

“No, really, it’s fine. Yeah, I’m going to take a break. After a little rest…”

I opened my mouth to calm Geppel’s fuss, but it was slowing down. I didn’t have the strength to keep my eyes open.

‘But I still have to tell him this before I collapse.’

I squeezed out the last bit and managed to bring it up.

“Geppel… I really… Don’t worry, it’s okay. If Kyle gets impatient about me… Can you… give it to me?”

“What…?

“… Lovely… Smile.”

“…!”

“…!”

Afterwards, Geppel and Taylor must have said something, unfortunately, I couldn’t hear it anymore. The only thing I knew was, this didn’t look good.

“Oh, and… Kyle knows my powers… I know…”

Eventually, I fainted without finishing my words.

*** Geppel Luna***

Geppel Luna was, in a good way, carefree; untied by worries of this world, and in a bad way, uninterested by the mundane humans cruising the same realm.

Far from it, he didn’t feel anything even when he was treating and saving someone.

He had no choice but to do it. He had been going to war since he was a child and had seen many people die, because of that, he was completely dulled by someone’s wounds and pain.

As a result, Geppel was left , feeling frustrated and hopeless for the first time in a long time after being unable to care for Taylor’s injury.

“ - So, uh, would you believe me if I healed Sir Taylor’s arm?”

Geppel did not believe what Riddel said.

He still couldn’t believe it. For the reason that he simply thought there was no one in the world who had better healing skills than him.

While in truth, there was someone.

Knowingly, as soon as he saw Riddel’s straight eyes watching him, it shook him to his core.

He read two emotions in Riddel’s eyes. The feeling of regret for Taylor without any impure intentions, and earnestness for him to believe her words that Kyle was going to die.

While Geppel was waiting for Riddel to start healing Taylor, as soon as the dazzling white light enveloped Taylor, his vision changed; an hallucination in the form of a clock that turned back in time.

And Geppel, the living miracle of the continent, was simply experiencing a true miracle.

His heart pounded quickly.

“ - I’m done.”

Seeing her grinning smile, it brought a sense of relief to Geppel.

‘Is she an angel?’ Geppel thought so for a moment.

However, after the emotional feeling left him, there were still unresolved questions.

After recalling this last event, Geppel sat in his office chair and pondered.

‘Is it possible to restore the severed arm clean?’

It might be possible to bring in and join the severed arm, but even that would leave a scar.

Therefore, there was nothing to discuss about this. It was absolutely impossible. There was also another question.

‘You want me to tell Kyle a lovely smile when he’s impatient?’

What the hell was that?

It didn’t take long before Geppel understood the meaning.

He wondered how much time had passed since then, when Kyle came to the room where Riddel was asleep.

Kyle stared at Geppel, who was guarding Riddel, with a killing spirit.

The priest who led Kyle to the room already had a pale face, lost of all colors.

“Geppel Luna, what the hell is going on here?”

Kyle cool’s voice was commanding him to explain right away. His eyes were already red, beyond control.

The kind of eyes that were ready to keep off anyone’s neck who was bothering him.

Of course, it wasn’t the first time Geppel saw those murderous eyes as they went to war together. Geppel knew a lot about the dragon’s temper. He also experienced it first hand, therefore, it could be seen as lucky that the neck of the guiding priest was still attached to the rest of his body.

‘I’ve had it up to here with that temper.’

Was this also a power of Riddel Spencer? Thinking, Geppel pulled out the card Riddel gave him.

“A lovely smile.”

“What?”

Kyle unconsciously asked back at Geppel’s sudden remark.

‘Oh, my God!’

Looking at Kyle’s visibly softened expression, Geppel was deeply bemused.

‘That’s why Riddel asked me to deliver this message.’

As it was, Geppel added with a smile on his face.

“You’re wondering how I know that. Riddel told me to say this to you if you were getting impatient.”

Just after delivering his last card, Geppel witnessed an even more mysterious event. Kyle’s eyes were returning to their original colors.

Oh, my God, putting an impatient dragon to rest with a single word.

‘There’s been a lot of crazy happening today.’

At this point, Geppel thought he was dreaming.

Kyle was also gazing at a sleeping Riddel. Perhaps he was worried.

Geppel spoke again to reassure Kyle.

“As you can see, Riddel is safe. She just fell asleep, she’s not sick. Besides, she won’t be taking too much time waking up, she has been able to recover her energy enough now.”

Kyle stared at Geppel, lifting his eyes up instead answering.

Geppel, who grasped the meaning, immediately started to explain the whole story of how things happened. Riddel mentioned Kyle knew of her ability anyway.

‘So let’s just get to it.’

“… Well, that’s what happened.”

Geppel’s explanation finally came to an end, and Kyle, who had been silent all along, spoke in a heavy voice.

“So, in conclusion, you got my wife involved in your private affair?”
