Chapter 175 – Florida Man Wrestled a Pig in a Professional Wrestling Match. The Pig Owner is Confused.

After receiving the ticket, Leo found himself back on the bus, sitting on his bed. It was as if he had never moved at all.

Leo looked around to make sure that he returned to his bus. Confirming that he was safe, he opened the Gnosis Gacha page to see what he could get from it.

The banner also featured the 10+1 promotion. Looking at the discount, Leo was tempted to collect nine more.

"Right. I still have the real-time thingy."

He laughed and selected the Real-Time PVP Mode. A new screen appeared, showing Leo's current ranking. As usual, he was unranked.

However, the ranking was a lot shorter than the offline one. Only a thousand portraits appeared on the list. Moreover, the number of points seemed suspicious.

The lowest rank had 142 points while the guy with a higher rank had 175 points. The gap between ranks was even more severe at the top level. For example, the top guy "Lucky" had over five million points while the second rank "Shuri" was three million points behind.

On top of the ranking, the screen revealed that it was Season 65,536, and it would end in 20 years. In addition, the season page revealed the prizes that top rankers would earn when the season ended.

The top rank would get two billion years of lifespan, including a hundred lucky draw tickets of any category! As for the bottom rankers with one point or more, they would get one lucky draw ticket as a consolation prize.

Leo gulped. He remembered that he wasted 2,147,483,647 years to transmigrate to this cultivation world. Thinking of getting those precious YOL back made Leo salivate.

"Here goes nothing! What can go wrong?"

Confident in his strength, Leo pressed the auto-match button at the bottom. Then, his system screens were closed.

Leo found himself in a similar cubic arena. However, he didn't find an opponent. Instead, He discovered the audience outside of the transparent cubic arena.

Outside the arena was a humongous stadium, far larger than every Earth's sports stadium combined. It looked like a condominium complex inside a massive dome stadium and spectator stands.

The spectators were strange as well. Leo couldn't find any human in the crowded stadium. On the other hand, humanoid beastmen, giant creatures, and monsters gathered in groups, forming a territory on the stands.

As Leo looked around, he noticed a group of familiar creatures. They had round heads, cat ears, cat faces, and tentacles like one of his guardian statues. These guys came in a group of 100, watching Leo from a VIP box. However, they were far bigger than the statue, and their room was as big as the Tokyo Dome Stadium.

The sheer size of this place and the humongous monsters made Leo feel like an ant. He wondered if he slipped into the MIB Universe.

While checking the spectators and the stadium, two unreadable words were displayed.

Unfortunately for Leo, he could not read the numbers as it was in a different language. He could hear the conversations from the crowd, but he couldn't figure out what they were talking about. Everything sounded gibberish.

After waiting and standing idly for a few minutes, a large monster appeared in an arena.

He was a three-meter-tall green orc. His lower jaw was bigger than the upper part, and his two canines extended outside of his mouth. His muscular chest, arms, and legs were full of scars.

The orc turned around and stared at Leo. He put his hand on his face, and a tribal mask appeared from thin air, covering his ugly face. A full leather armor appeared and covered his half-naked body while two hammers manifested and landed on the ground in front of him.

He calmly equipped his gear and grabbed his hammers, getting ready to fight. However, he didn't step forward.

Leo stroked his braided beard and wondered if this guy was stronger than the previous angel. He pulled out his pistol to test the water. Unfortunately, Leo couldn't pull the trigger.

DING

<This is your first time participating in a real-time PVP combat. The system will teach you about the local customs.>

<Before every match, the lower-ranked player may wager their items, slaves, fate crystals, gnosis, or lifespan. After putting on the wager, the higher-ranked player must wager anything of the same value. This forced wager cannot be declined or canceled.>

<However, if a lower-ranked player chooses not to wager anything, the opponent has the right to wager anything, and the other party cannot decline. Vice versa, the lower-ranked player has to wager something of the same value as the declared bet.>

<Other than the personal wager between players, any participant may join the arena gamble house and bet on themselves. No participant is allowed to bet on their opponents.>

<The match ends whenever a player is unable to fight, stripped of their fate crystals, or dies. No one is allowed to forfeit or give up during the match to prevent cheating and fixed matches.>

<Tips – While you're in this arena, the universal language translation feature will be automatically enabled so that you can communicate with the other players and the audiences.>

"…"

Although Leo was not into gambling, he never hated it. Since this place wished for him to make a bet, he might as well follow the local customs.

When in Rome, act like Romans.

"Ahem!"

Leo coughed and gazed at the orc. He tried to speak.

"This is my first time here. May I bet my puny lifespan and one Earth fate crystal?

Leo chose not to reveal his two entity fate crystals to avoid attention. As he was new, he needed to gather info and avoid trouble.

He might be a laidback person when he dealt with other cultivators. However, at a higher stage, Leo couldn't afford to behave the same way. He didn't trust PLAYERS and fellow system users.

The orc heard the translated version of Leo's words in his language, and he was disappointed. He dropped his hammers and crossed his arms.

"I thought a newcomer has at least a heavenly fate crystal, SCHWEE! What a letdown, SCHWEE!"

Leo snickered, "I take that as a yes, right?"

The orc snorted and poked something invisible in front of him. Then, a screen appeared in front of Leo.

The screen showed the orc's portrait and grid boxes. A few seconds later, an icon of a piece of Earth Fate Crystal appeared in one of the grid boxes. In addition, the bottom of the grids showed the lifespan that the orc had.

[641,510 Years]

This orc had a long life!

Leo rubbed his hands. He checked the other side of the screen, which showed his information and portrait. Aside from the fate crystal icons that he had, Leo found a button to add his lifespan into the wager pool. He also checked his current lifespan.

[161,154 Years]

Looking at his current lifespan, Leo regretted investing in the Pylon Tower and shopping mall. Had he saved up, he would have 200,000 years more to gamble.

Since Leo only had this much, he allocated 100,000 YOL to the wager pool, forcing the orc to bet the same amount.

After putting one piece of earth fate crystal and his lifespan into the wager pool, Leo glanced at the scoreboard once again. It showed the betting odds between Leo and the orc.

It was currently in favor of the orc, and the rating was -750. For example, a gambler had to put $750 betting on the orc. Should the orc win, the gambler would get their $750 back and make a profit of $100.

On the other hand, Leo's rate was +600. Thus, he could profit a lot for little investment.

Since everybody thought of him as a pushover, Leo explored his system and noticed a tab on top of the screen.

[Gambling House]

Without hesitation, Leo pressed on it. The new page showed similar grids and lifespan labels. Also, there was an instruction.

[Please input the amount you want to bet on yourself.]

It was easy to understand. As Leo still had 61,154 YOL in stock, he bet 60,000 YOL without saying anything. With this amount, he could profit 360,000 YOL and get his wager back!

Leo snickered and rubbed his hands, looking forward to collecting his profits.

Strangely, after the bet, the odds didn't change. Normally, the gambling houses in his homeworld always change the rate whenever someone put a huge bet on a team or someone.

Since nobody changed the rating, Leo didn't protest. He closed the menu and gazed at the orc.

The orc was also busy looking at his invisible system screen. He fiddled with it and closed the system menu.

When both sides were ready, Leo and the orc stared at each other. The latter grabbed his hammers and got ready to fight.

BEEP

5…

4…

The warning sound alerted them that the countdown had begun. Their bodies turned stiff as they were restrained by an unknown force.

As soon as the countdown began, Leo heard someone speaking to him directly to his mind.

'Win for us, munya! I have a feeling that you are my lucky star today!'

"Munya?"

3…

2…

Leo could only rotate his eyes. He glanced at the group of catopuses in a VIP box and managed to catch a glimpse of an orange catopus. I waved its tentacle at Leo and smiled.

'PAY ATTENTION, MUNYA!'

"Oh, right."

1…

BEEP

By the time Leo looked at the orc, the countdown finished. A blunt hammer was already one centimeter in front of Leo.

BOOM

It was a direct hit. For the first time, Leo's head tilted backward, and he took two steps back.

"What?!"

The orc frowned after he smashed Leo's face with his hammer. Nobody had survived his hammer attack before.

Leo regained his balance. He lowered his stance and tackled the orc. After grabbing the orc's legs, Leo lifted the huge guy up and slammed him with a spine-buster.

Although Leo managed to touch the orc, his victory wasn't guaranteed. Many people and creatures resisted his gene mutation power before, so he didn't expect the orc to mutate and die with a single touch.

The orc remained expressionless. He glanced at his thighs as he sensed the wiggling cancer cells inside him. Ignoring the mutating cells, he shouted.

"PROVIDENCE DOMAIN, WAR GOD SKIN!"

The green orc's skin reddened. He kicked Leo away and sat up. All cancer cells earlier were crushed by his green blood.

Leo rolled on the ground and pulled out his gun. He fired a round at the orc.

BANG

The bullet hit the orc's chest, but it failed to penetrate his skin.

Leo narrowed his eyes. He injected his Qi into the upgraded bullet and tried again. This time, a black lightning beam came out.

"!!!"

The orc widened his eyes in shock and raised his hammers to block the beam. However, he was swallowed in the darkness.

When the black light subsided, the orc was left with a set of red bones and his internal organs. Although his muscle, skin, and flesh got melted by the black beam, he was still alive.

The skin and flesh of the orc slowly regenerated. Even his melted eyes were repaired in a second.

"You're not just a True Immortal. You're a god as well, I see."

Seeing that the orc was about to restore his body, Leo summoned his dao avatar, preparing to use his ultimate technique. However, before Leo could do so, the orc let go of his hammers and sat down.

BEEP

<Congratulations! You have defeated The Orc God, Acku'Schweelu.>

"Huh, wait a second."

Leo was taken aback. He thought that he hadn't won yet, but the system stopped the match.

The orc smirked at Leo. He then pointed at his stomach, full of his innards and internal organs.

"Surprised, newbie, SCHWEE?"

"Of course, I'm surprised. How did I win? I haven't done anything to you yet?"

"Hahahaha! You already destroyed my providence domain, SCHWEE. My flesh and muscles are gone, and I can't use Qi until I recover my body, SCHWEE. Since I can't continue fighting even for a minute, I've lost, SCHWEE."

"… Wait. That's it?"

"Cracking your opponent's domain, especially a providence domain is enough to decide the match, actually. Anyway, good fight, human god, SCHWEE."

"…"
