The doctor diagnosed Pei Zhen as being in a comatose state due to head trauma suffered during the accident.

Miraculously, apart from his head injury, the rest of him seemed to be unharmed and functioning normally.

Fu Sichen was relieved for now, especially after hearing that Pei Zhen’s life wasn’t in danger.

He had wanted to keep vigil at the hospital. However, Xiao Nian, seeing how exhausted he looked, suggested that he went home.

Pei Zhen was originally drowsy after his meal. But, he was startled awake once more due to the sound of the door opening.

Light streamed in from the corridor. He could tell from Fu Sichen’s silhouette that he was exhausted. Lazily lying on his stomach, Pei Zhen looked at him through squinted eyes.

He came home this late. Was he tired after going out for a rendezvous?

Who would’ve thought? The highly-acclaimed Best Actor Fu actually had such a depraved side to him.

“Meow.”

Pei Zhen yawned lazily. He nonchalantly observed Fu Sichen enter the house and shut the door behind him. His eyes closed slowly… But then, Best Actor Fu, his sworn enemy, let out a muffled whimper.

“Rascal.”

Pei Zhen looked on in silence.

The grief that was evident on Fu Sichen’s face was so heavy, he could practically touch it. It was inexplicably reminiscent of someone who was heartbroken.

But if that was the case, then why did he say the word “rascal?”

Beginning to feel his thoughts wander, Pei Zhen stopped himself from thinking about it any deeper than that, and hurriedly fell asleep.

Just go to sleep.

He couldn’t even help himself, so how could he help that scumbag?

This was all definitely a dream! Tomorrow morning, he would wake up to face a brand-new day!

Growing up with an outstanding person like Fu Sichen, if there was anything that Pei Zhen had learned, then it was an ever-increasing ability to comfort himself.

Pei Zhen had no desire to think deeper into what Fu Sichen had meant when he said the word “rascal.” He spread out onto his stomach, and attempted to go to sleep. That morning, he woke up because he really had to pee.

After a night of digestion, his bladder was about to burst. It kept on protesting violently.

He still thought that he was in the body of a human.

Getting up, with his eyes still blurry with sleep, he started walking. Almost immediately, he crashed into the cage wall.

He heard the sound of a crash and yelped in pain.

Now, Pei Zhen was fully awake. When all he saw were his furry paws, he let out a curse under his breath.

A cat!

He was still a cat!

Why were the Gods so mean to him!

He sulked. Out of the corner of his eye Pei Zhen could see Fu Sichen’s bedroom. The door was tightly shut. Emboldened, he flipped open the cage door to make a dash for the toilet.

The toilet was about a meter off the ground.

Pei Zhen pressed his hind legs against the floor, with his paws by his sides. He looked up towards that liberating destination with a great sense of urgency.

There was no way that he was going to lift his hind leg so he could pee, like some animal.

So now what?

Pei Zhen glanced at the toilet bowl. For two seconds, he had mixed feelings. Then, he took a leap, landing on the edge of the seat. His legs were splayed out. Feeling disgraced, he looked downwards.

His testicles were still there.

Good thing he hadn’t been neutered yet.

Completely ignorant to how a cat normally peed, Pei Zhen hopelessly gave up. He covered his face with his paws and started to relief himself.

He missed wearing pants.

Pei Zhen decided that he would go online to buy himself a few pairs of cat pants as soon as Fu Sichen left.

But, Fu Sichen was sure to find out about the purchase. Pei Zhen wondered if that scumbag, Fu Sichen, would demean him or torture him, if he ever found out that he had turned into this cat.

The more Pei Zhen thought about it, the more afraid he became. He was now obsessing over the delivery order from the night before. He started to panic.

He had been too careless. How could he have been so thoughtless. He…

“It’s you?” Suddenly, a voice boomed next to his ear. Pei Zhen froze and turned his head towards the sound.

Fu Sichen was standing at the door, and Pei Zhen was still stuck in an awkward position, with his hind legs still splayed out on each side of the toilet bowl.
