Xin Siyue took a taxi to go to her so-called apartment. When she arrived at her destination, she looked up at the grand gate of her apartment complex and had a moment’s hesitation. Did they have to design it so luxuriously?

She stiffly went up the stairs step by step, thoroughly feeling like a country bumpkin ever since arriving in this world.

Only then did she realize that she needed more time to adapt to the fact that she was now a local wealthy heiress.

For half-an-hour, Xin Siyue strolled around the compound while enjoying the magnificent view. A serious question suddenly came to mind–she had asked Xin Qiancheng what the address for her apartment was, but she forgot to inquire as well about her specific apartment unit and room number.

Just as she took out her cell phone to trouble her brother once more, a slender and handsome figure caught her attention. The sleeves of the young man’s long-sleeve shirt was pulled up and his suit coat was folded up and slung on his arms.

Haha, it’s Chen Sinan once again.

Xin Siyue was about to turn around and hide, but just when she turned, another question came to mind: if she secretly followed after the male protagonist, wouldn’t she be able to find her apartment?

She clearly recalled that Xin Siyue’s apartment was next door to Chen Sinan’s.

Following him would save her time trying to look around, because she had discovered that this apartment complex was quite large!

After some consideration, she stealthily followed after Chen Sinan. Although she tried to make her footsteps very light and did her best not to get close to him, she was suddenly caught while only being less than 200 meters away from him.

Chen Sinan’s gaze was cold and fierce, the warning message in his eyes obvious.

Xin Siyue was frightened by the terrible look in his eyes. She unconsciously shook off the feeling and comforted herself, thinking, ‘What are you afraid of? It’s not like I wronged him!’

With that in mind, she dared to reply: “What are you looking at?”

“Oh.” Chen Sinan sounded as if he heard a ridiculous joke. “Don’t you think you should ask yourself that question?”

‘It’s that tone again!’ It was that exact same tone he used in the auditorium, one filled with undisguised sarcasm.

Xin Siyue looked straight at him and said in a small voice: “I wasn’t looking at you.”

He laughed at her words.

Xin Siyue muttered under her breath: “Crazy!”

She went forward two steps, but then recalling that she had no idea where her apartment was, she stopped in her tracks once again.

Noticing her hesitation, Chen Sinan folded his arms across his chest and glanced at her lazily, his eyes filled with pride and ridicule.

Xin Siyue glared at him, then decisively walked past him. She took out her cell phone and called Xin Qiancheng. “Brother, what apartment number do I live in?”

When Chen Sinan heard her voice gradually fading into the distance, he unconsciously raised a brow. ‘She doesn’t even know where she lives, so does that mean she really lost her memory?’

He considered this even more when he saw how Xin Siyue kept trying to unlock her apartment door with several different keys. Unexpectedly, he felt like laughing: ‘Rather than amnesia, hasn’t this girl gone stupid?’

Chen Sinan picked up an important phone call halfway through, so he stopped in place and wasted a lot of time answering the call. Afterwards, he took the elevator and made his way back to his apartment.

When he got there, he saw that tiny figure half bent over while foolishly trying to open the door with one key after the other. The girl cursed under her breath: “How can there be so many keys! Ugh, this isn’t the one either!”
