"A player? I don't think I am one although I like to tease," Avi replied innocently while trying to get away from his grasp. "As I was saying earlier, I suddenly recalled that I have coaching already booked, so I need to hurry. Let's move our session for tomorrow, okay?"

"Avi," Liu Ye muttered with a judging gaze. "You just heard the announcement and tried to run away."

"Huh? What announcement? I don't know what you are talking about," Avi pretended once again while shrugging his hand off. "I'm sorry but I have to go. You know, coaching and stuff. Hope you can get back safely."

She showed an apologetic smile and turned around to leave. Her actions were obvious but knowing how everyone was so secretive about the game, Liu Ye wasn't surprised she had to hide it.

That didn't mean he couldn't bluff her a little.

"I know all the secrets from Katherine. You don't need to run away," Liu Ye called out after her and sure enough, his bet was a success.

"You know Katherine?" Avi questioned as she stopped. "What does she look like?"

"A blond beauty in white dress. I met her a few times since we were talking about awakening and candidates," Liu Ye explained casually. "Look, I know you were probably asked to keep it a secret so I can continue pretending that you are an NPC. I don't mind."

"Oof, that's good…" Avi sighed in relief and returned back. "I almost thought I fucked up. Katherine would kill me if the news got out."

She hugged his arm and looked at him pitifully. "Let's keep it a secret. Don't tell anyone about me, okay?"

"Well, it depends," Liu Ye shrugged helplessly. "Will you continue to help me today or not?"

"I will!" Avi nodded without hesitation.. "But I can only stay for 5 hours so that didn't change. I have to log out afterward since I am landing. I am currently in a plane right now."

"Oh, that's okay. Don't worry, my mouth has been silenced," Liu Ye assured before investigating slyly, "You are working for Katherine, right? If she is the main designer then you should be an admin. Why are you playing the game instead of monitoring other players?"

Maybe Xu Yue was forced to keep secrets but if Avi was part of the organization, it would be strange if she had the same restrictions. He could extort some information if he acted well enough.

Avi looked at his face to check his expression but he remained calm and even reached out to fix a strand of hair on her face.

"What? Are you surprised I know this much?" Liu Ye asked causally. "I was also surprised when Katherine told me the real purpose of this game. Maybe it's because of my potential? I guess she wanted to get me on your side right away."

"This should be the only explanation… I'm actually surprised she told you this much. Usually, she is pretty strict and wouldn't break the rules she set up by herself," Avi explained suspiciously.

"I think I made an impression on her with my achievements in-game," Liu Ye pointed out. "She even appeared in the game and gave me some advises even though I wasn't a candidate."

"I guess she chose you as her pupil," Avi wondered out loud and suddenly moved in front of him while wrapping her arms around his neck. "Maybe I should steal you for myself?"

That was the only time Liu Ye allowed her to get this close and didn't push her away.

"Oh, really? Do you want me to become your student?" Liu Ye asked with a smile and gently held her waist.

"If Katherine wants you so badly then I guess your potential should be excellent," Avi muttered as she scratched the back of his head. "You see, just having a potential for 5 Elements is not enough to become an Avatar. One needs to have something special in them."

"Your Potential is actually the reason I talked to you in the first place," Avi added as she moved closer. "I was bored playing alone so I thought it won't hurt if I play with you a little. You are going to awaken soon anyway and I would bribe you to stay silent."

"Bribe me?" Liu Ye repeated and regretted it right after. Avi jumped and wrapped her legs around his waist as she let him carry her.

"Maybe my face can't compare with Katherine's but I'm quite confident with my body," Avi informed before leaning over to his ear. "I usually don't do it with anyone but you are my type so I can make an exception for you..."

"Isn't Katherine your boss? I don't think she would be happy that you are bribing her pupil this way," Liu Ye reminded, causing Avi to halt her plans of kissing his neck.

"Well, she is technically higher ranked but I am not directly under her," Avi explained while finally jumping down from him. "I'm only listening to her because I respect her strength. She is actually the reason why I have to leave early today. I'm more active in real-life operations instead of the game so she asked me for a favor."

"So that's why you are traveling," Liu Ye acknowledged, hoping she would reveal more. "I'm sure you would prefer to play the game instead."

"Yeah, I have been addicted to playing since the game was created. Although you are limited by Mana, you can actually awaken new elements in the game which is my chance to improve," Avi replied as she finally released him. "I will see if I can play tomorrow though. I'm supposed to protect some important candidate so I'm not sure if I can find the time. Talking about it, I'm still yet to check how does he look like."

She gazed at his body and bit on her lips. "Too bad it's not you. I wouldn't hesitate to taste you."

Protection? Candidate?

'Don't tell me she is the one coming…'
