After Gates emerged into the world, humanity was split into two groups: Users and ordinary humans. Leekyung was fortunate enough to awaken as a User and choose a Class, but in a moment of poor judgement, he selected the Necromancer class - known as the worst of them all. In his quest to evolve his skeletal servant, Lackey, Leekyung could barely participate in a high-level raid for the Tower of Command Dungeon. However, a sudden accident caused him to fall alone and uncover a hidden conspiracy. Desperate and injured, Leekyung called out for help and unexpectedly connected with a vengeful spirit. He pleaded for assistance, willing to do anything to survive. The spirit, Seo Dawon, offered a contract: "You'll do anything? Then accept my oath." Seo Dawon, a Ranker Mage, sought revenge and saw an opportunity in Leekyung's desperation. In exchange for helping him achieve his revenge, Seo Dawon promised to always protect Leekyung from danger. With no other options, Leekyung accepted the contract and initiated a new partnership with Seo Dawon. Together, the unlikely duo embarked on a delightful revenge play, with Junior Necromancer Choi Leekyung and Ranker Mage Seo Dawon working together to take down their enemies. However, as they journeyed together, they also faced challenges and obstacles that tested their mental health.
