Have you ever pondered the existence of a character in a novel or game? Do they have their own routines, like eating and sleeping, when you're not immersed in their story? The truth is, they don't. They simply freeze in time until you pick up the book or controller again. But let's consider our own lives for a moment. Is it really that different from a game without a system? We can't see what's happening behind us, just like how a character has to be rendered in a game. But at least we have our own lives to live. Meanwhile, I am stuck watching the protagonist of the novel chase after every female lead. It's my fate to witness their romantic escapades while I remain on the sidelines. But don't get me wrong, I'm not envious at all. This is just my destiny.
