In the original tale, the male protagonist accused his former spouse of mistreating him during their youth. However, in my version, I raised my young husband as if he were my own brother. When he left for war, I began planning for a divorce. I couldn't risk following the same path as the original story, where the male lead falls for the princess of a fallen kingdom and brings her back with him. Instead, I focused on obtaining a respectable separation. While preparing for this, I managed to amass a considerable fortune and even developed a cure for incurable diseases, determined not to meet the same fate as the villainess in the original story. Now, all that's left is to finalize the divorce. But when my dear husband returned home, he had grown into a handsome and capable man. Don't worry, I'm still going through with the divorce. Strangely enough, his reaction was rather peculiar. While I was fighting on the battlefield, he was ready to flee. He flashed a dangerous smile as he wrapped his large hands around my waist. "Are you having an affair?" His eyes burned with intensity, in stark contrast to the softness of his lips. I quickly denied any wrongdoing, reminding him that I was fully prepared for a divorce. But as his gaze lingered on me, I couldn't help but wonder if perhaps our relationship could take a different turn.
