Weary of the chaos and conflicts of city living, Bei Feng finally returned to his rural hometown. As he strolled through the fields, admiring the wild asters growing by the Eastern fence, his gaze rested upon the majestic Southern mountain. With a few chickens and ducks to tend to, he envisioned a peaceful and uncomplicated life. But little did he know that fate had a cruel joke in store for him. Inexplicably, the Ancient Well in his yard became a portal to the Myriad Worlds, where all sorts of magical objects and creatures could be found. Even a simple chicken caught from the well turned out to be a feisty beast that chased Bei Feng around and left him bruised and bewildered. Feeling speechless and wronged, he couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if he had fished out a dragon instead of a chicken that day. Would he have been able to handle such a powerful and mythical creature? The thought alone was enough to make him shudder.
