Roa Valrose was reborn as the antagonist in the popular novel, determined to avoid her tragic fate of being burned at the stake. In order to do so, she cunningly approaches the charming hero, Nocton Edgar. Despite feeling a pang of guilt every time she gets closer to him, Roa is willing to do whatever it takes to secure her survival. But things take an unexpected turn when Nocton starts seeking her out every day. As their interactions become more frequent, Roa's longtime friend drops a bombshell on her - revealing that in his dream, Nocton is not the valiant hero, but a ruthless villain. Realizing that she had misinterpreted her role in the story, Roa decides to distance herself from Nocton and declares they should no longer meet. To her surprise, Nocton's reaction is anything but expected. He pleads for her not to leave, claiming that she has always been special to him. Roa can't help but be suspicious of his sudden change in behavior. Will she be able to safely escape from Nocton's grasp? Only time will tell.
